No they are not for open boarders. They still respect the rule of law of other countries and cross the borders legally. I don't think anyone from the "Doctors without Borders" are forcibly crossing the borders of other sovereign nations demanding that they are entitled to enter.

And people from a Chicano band in Los Angeles are not forcibly crossing borders of other sovereign nations demanding that they are entitled to enter. You're taking a music group's T-shirt and arguing as if their shirt is a policy from an elected politician.

There still is no quote about open borders that has been posted, but I guess people will shift to simply arguing it's the voters now? That's what we call shifting the goalposts.

We don't have a physical barrier around the country, enforcement if immigration law IS the border. Calling for decriminalization and the abolition of the immigration enforcement agency, is synonymous with calling for open borders.

Research what "open borders" means. Its not a big door that we open.

Because the "America" that Trump is trying to make great again is bad. It took a bloody war and much civil strife to put that America down. We don't want it back.

It took a Civil Rights Movement 188 years after "the land of the free and the home of the brave" was supposedly founded upon freedom, liberty and justice for all to put that America down. But that wasn't quite enough for the country that brags about its freedom and liberties because a Voting Rights Act a year later (in 1965) and an American Indian Religious Freedom Act 14 years later (in 1978) was also needed to finally give minorities voting rights and Native Americans religious freedom. And that's not to mention what LGBT American citizens have had to go through to obtain civil rights and equality.

I way to young to remember why Reagan used that as a line. But when Trump said this line .America was all ready financially good. And from what I get from Trumps logo. Is to allow racism, harassment, and bullying. Also he seems to be taking the right away from women and GLBT. Which also takes us back from progress

That's not synonymous with open borders. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency was created in 2003. The US did not have open borders prior to 2003, so even if someone is for abolition of the agency, that is not synonymous with open borders. And that's the facts, people saying Democratic politicians want open borders are spreading a lie and falsehood because they don't have evidence supporting that. This is the equivalent a parent saying it's okay for their child to have a late curfew and the other parent accusing that parent of being okay with the child smoking crack.

The main problem with this is that they actually believe people come into the country illegally by crossing the southern border (I won't even get into the implied bigotry of a wall in the south, but not in the north), not by taking a plane and overstaying their visas. Most undocumented immigrants are here on a visa, but ridiculous immigration policies don't allow them to continue working, which is one of the main reasons they become undocumented. There is nuance to this, which is yet another reason why a border wall is a dumb idea as it does not address the real issue regarding undocumented immigrants.
