Exactly. I was also going to use that example earlier but didn't do it. We had malls changing and selectively enforcing dress codes because of what they feel a hoodie represents. It's not a problem on white college kids, women and obvious jocks, but it's a code word used in speaking about and targeting "menacing" black youth. There is a difference though. It's not the hoodie, it's the black skin wearing it. And it doesn't matter if that skin is in a hoodie or a suit. A lot of stuff, from hair styles on, associated with black ppl get criminalized. A white guy jogging is not a problem. A back guy jogging is running from a crime scene and gets the cops called on him. Everyone wants to control the appearance and behavior of black folks so that they don't feel uncomfortable. White kids can walk around goth, punk, any color of hair and it's dismissed as a phase. Only one hair choice is a problem for white folks, then only some of the time, and that's a total bald head because of the history of skinheads.

Discussions about stuff like this haven't ended well in the past, and I've yet to see any indication things have evolved enough to suggest a nuanced and sensitive conversation can take place. It's just a matter of time before someone comes in making racially insensitive remarks to provoke or attempt to get the thread closed. It's only left me with a lower opinion of some of the people who have participated, and I'd rather not go down that path again or get mentally confronted yet again with the realization of the mindsets and ideas that exist in my Christian brothers and sisters regarding race are really twisted. I learned long ago that this is not a safe space.

Wow....you missed the point of that comment entirely.

Those white guys you assume are racist for wearing a Confederate flag or MAGA hat? No different from someone assuming a black kid is a criminal for wearing a hoodie...you're just as wrong as the people you're judging.

I don't know how much more I can break this down for you. To the radical black supremacists like the ones found in the Black Panthers, they truly believed that by finally having a black president they could finally overthrow and oppress white people in retaliation. To these people the "Hope and Change" that they were calling for was the "Hope" that they had that a black man would be president so that they could "Change" the country into one of black nationalism and oppression of white people.

As I stated numerous times that myself and over 99% of Americans don't find any connection to Obama using "Hope and Change" to even imply such a motive. The point that I made is that you are right. "Hope and change" was never intended to be a moniker of the black power movement by President Obama and over 99% of his supporters. Just the few exceptions. Just like "MAGA" is not a moniker for white supremacy by President Trump and over 99% of his supporters. Just the few exceptions. You are trying to make an argument that isn't there. Also, you may want to change your profile picture. Someone may "feel offended" and report you for goading.
You can’t just make stuff up. How do you know what modern Black Panthers want? When is the last time you sat in one of their meetings?

However, the Trump administration separated children from their parents. This the Obama administration did not do.

Yes, the Obama administration did so, and it was legally obliged to do so (under Reno v Flores), if the parents were being detained.

I so agree, I agree again, and yes I do and I agree a third time :) And lastly, it makes sense, one illegally entering would make each one that did so a criminal for not doing so legally.
Okay, perhaps I misunderstood the context of your post. You know how it is sometime with text. If I was mistaken, I apologize.

We've already discussed those images in the past. How many children or parents did he lose?

People harp on the same things on this board forever, so if you are going to bring up caged children again, to help out with a picture not on Trumps watch is amusing myself.

How many children or parents did Obama or Trump or someone in ICE lose?

Black Lives Matter protested in support of an open bigot and racist...and they did it alongside racist hate groups.

Should we then assume Black Lives Matter themselves support racist ideas?

You already think that, so why should I waste my time yet again pointing out that black people asking the police not to shoot them over the colour of their skin isn’t actually racist?

On the contrary, based on the threads started on CF, there seem to be quite a few conservatives who care about perceived "emotional insults and accusations from the left."

The key is "separated." The Obama administration did "cage" unaccompanied minors. I agree - this was bad. However, the Trump administration separated children from their parents. This the Obama administration did not do.
How do you know that the people claiming to be the children's parents are actually their parents and not the human trafficker who were smuggling them into the country to work as sex slaves?

It also doesn't suggestion 1,000,000 illegal votes.

No, that's (1) an estimate I read elsewhere and also (2) my personal estimate of the most likely value in the 38,000 to 2.8 million range.

Trump didn't sign an executive order to end child separation?

There is no separation policy....that never existed....its a lie.

If you can find Trump creating a "separation policy" I'll mail you 100$ cash.

It was a direct result of the "zero tolerance" policy instituted by the Trump administration.

Here Are the Facts About President Trump's Family Separation Policy

Trump only signed the executive order after being criticized from all sides for the policy:
"President Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday ending his administration's policy of separating migrant children from their parents who were detained as they attempted to enter the U.S. illegally.

The action came after a firestorm of protest from administration opponents and allies, reacting to pictures and sounds of young children traumatized by their separation from their parents at the hands of U.S. authorities."

None of this would even be a problem if they came over legally, all those waiting their turn coming over legally from all over the world with their children aren't having these problems. Theres lawful and lawless, at our border its lawlessness. They do the best with what they have.

The Trump administration lost track of about 1500 children.

You are absolutely right. Who knows if people's kids are really their kids. Maybe we should take all kids away from their parents. Do you have kids?

Trump's Executive Order On Family Separation: What It Does And Doesn't Do

Now this worries me, because (1) there never was a "Trump family separation" policy (only the Flores decision from the 1990s), and (2) Trump's executive order did something, but it didn't do what you think. Read your own links again, more closely.

That is true. However, it does not justify inhumane treatment once they are here.
