No - faith is fine. But it should be seen for what it is.

Disagree. Faith is about the worst reason you can have to believe something.
In fact, faith is what you invoke when you have NO actual reasons to believe something.

Don't remember who said it, but it's worth repeating:
"Faith is what you need to believe those things that you know ain't true".

Propagator: Academia

Academia owes our martyrs an apology.

ETA: I just googled the word "propagator" to make sure I spelled it correctly, and this definition came up:

"a covered, typically heated container filled with earth or compost,"

That is so on-target.

Academia: both worldly and ... well ... compost.

Disagree. Faith is about the worst reason you can have to believe something.

The opposite of faith is not doubt. The opposite of faith is certainty.

i dont think so.

Fortunatly, science doesn't really care what you think.

there is no evidence that human and banana share a common descent.

Except the genetic facts, but who cares about facts, right...

If taught properly, students will learn the fact that humans and all other known species share common ancestors

why you call it a "fact" when its clearly not?

I cannot reproduce my own birth in the lab.

but you can reproduce other births in front of your eyes. on the other hand- you cant reproduce how a fish evolve into human. its a big difference.

Because he's actually an active, working, publishing, professional geneticist who knows better then a random internet surfing religious fundamentalist, such as yourself.

but you can reproduce other births in front of your eyes.

No, not a single birth can be reproduced.
Not his, not anyone else's.

he reason is because science class teaches science and religion is not science.

Please have the honesty to recognise and support the truth.
Science classes when teaching about evolution are not teaching science but the accepted idea of how life arose and adapted.

If they were teaching science of evolution they would compare evolution to the science behind creation ideas and demonstrate how science works as these ideas are compared.
if evolution as demonstratably superior no oe would believe it.

actually most scientists believe in higher power. are you believe in higher power now?

Except the genetic facts, but who cares about facts, right...
its not a "genetic facts" but a personal interpretation of the genetic facts. see the difference?

Please have the honesty to recognise and support the truth.

I do.
The truth is that biology (evolution) is science and religion (creationism) is not.

Science classes when teaching about evolution are not teaching science but the accepted idea of how life arose and adapted.

Gratz, you managed to get 2 things wrong in a single sentence.
1. evolution is not about how life arose
2. evolution theory is a well established scientific theory that forms the backbone of biology

If they were teaching science of evolution they would compare evolution to the science behind creation ideas

There is no science behind creation ideas. There are 2 things behind creation ideas:
1. arguments from incredulity concerning actual biology
2. the bible

and demonstrate how science works as these ideas are compared.
How evolution works is demonstrated in biology classes, assuming the science teacher knows what he is talking about.

if evolution as demonstratably superior no oe would believe it.

huh?
I think/hope you mispoke there, because what you wrote made no sense at all.

actually most scientists believe in higher power.

Which you are not and which is irrelevant to the science.
Most scientists also accept evolution. And by "most", I mean "practically all of them".

are you believe in higher power now?

No.

its not a "genetic facts" but a personal interpretation of the genetic facts.
No, it's not.
