Hello and thank you for your reply
How did you learn that religious tales are man made? What evidence proved it or how did you come to this conclusion?
What psychological need does christianity suit?
Cheers
Yes He walked on water. If you cant answer the question just say so.
Yes He walked on water.
That's what the story claims.
That answered your also if you think about it. The reason you can't walk on water is because you must obey the laws of nature. Jesus was above the laws of nature, as one would expect from the Guy that made them!Congrats! You answered your own question. Really great.
Now, answer mine.

For lurkers..his question was thisNo it didnt.
Try again.
let me put it this way: if we had a self replicating molecule, do you believe that it can evolve into something like a car?Cars don't evolve via heritable variation and natural selection in whole populations, which is the explanatory mechanism for the relevant changes.
We've been through this several times before; I'm not wasting any more time on it. You're either incapable of grasping a simple explanation, which is very sad, or you're trolling, which is pathetic.
For lurkers..his question was this
"Do belief trump physical reality?"
The answer was that Jesus trumped the laws of nature. His beliefs sure trumped the reality of nature. I notice Peter also believed and walked on water!
Reality is not limited to some sinner in a lab coat who memorized religious propaganda they thought was science.
Great, hope you don't deny that we witnessed the reality of nature's laws being danced all over.Denying reality because of belief is stupid.

It is well known that the gospels are NOT eyewitness testimony.Yes. It is. Eyewitness testimony.
Yes; if it sounds familiar, we've already been through it all with 'robots' a year and a half ago...Right. And if cars are designed then horses must be designed, too.
Hello bhsmte. It would be the lack of reliable evidence, that enabled me to reach my conclusion.
Well, im pentecostal. What psychological need - that you could think of - would one have to gravitate towards that denomination? What do you believe this psycological change is that produces variations within Christianity? What ideaolgy varies within christianity? Why is a belief in Jesus as salvation a form of comfort and from what? CheerdIn regards to what psychological need does christianity suit? Well, there are so many denominations of christianity, that have varying ideology, people tend to gravitate towards the one that brings comfort. When psychological needs change over time, plenty of other variations of christianity for one to move on to.
So? I think you mean you accept only the magic in your religion, like big bang, first lifeform etc.I deny all magic.
John was a close friend and follower. Peter also. That is well known. It is well known that the gospels are NOT eyewitness testimony.
Did Julius Caesar see an angel at the Rubicon? Suetonius says he did, and he's quoted as a reliable source for confirmation of Jesus' existence.
