Why does a good God allow pain and suffering to exist in this world?

Let's get back to the subject of the thread please.
Ok, sorry if I offended you. But I was trying to be a lot more reasonable (and honest) in my posts to you more recently, etc.

And just know, I don't hate Catholics, and am not Anti-Catholic, ok. I am Anti-Corruption, but there is a difference. And just know that I think there is good and bad individual people in every kind of people group really, ok.

God Bless.

@Valletta

I would just like to ask you though, are you one of those who thinks just only Catholicism is the only true christian religion, and that all others have false belief systems/traditions/ways, and that all others are pagan?

Or that only Catholicism has absolutely everything right, and all others do not at all, and that all others are following a false, fake, anti-christ belief system, and that none of the individuals in them can ever truly ever follow Christ ever, because they are not Catholic, or are not of the only true religion, and/or are pagan?

That only Catholicism is perfect, and all others are not, and because of that they will all be damned maybe, or will/cannot be saved maybe, or will all be or stand eternally condemned in the end, and/or because of it maybe, etc?

Or some similar things like that maybe, etc?

Yes? No?

God Bless.

I've asked you to stop putting out misinformation about Catholics--there you go again. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states:
847 This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church: Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience — those too may achieve eternal salvation. Catechism of the Catholic Church - Paragraph # 847

"There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church — which is, of course, quite a different thing. These millions can hardly be blamed for hating Catholics because Catholics “adore statues”; because they “put the Blessed Mother on the same level with God”; because they say “indulgence is a permission to commit sin”; because the Pope “is a Fascist”; because the “Church is the defender of Capitalism.” If the Church taught or believed any one of these things it should be hated, but the fact is that the Church does not believe nor teach any one of them. It follows then that the hatred of the millions is directed against error and not against truth. As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do." Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

It's not the Catholics fault that they became "the church" for a while after Christ, etc. Because it was meant to happen either way, etc. If not them, then some other body that was exactly the same, but went by a different name, etc. And without the Catholic Church, we probably would not have the Bible, and/or Christianity, or the Scriptures, or the Gospel, etc.

So you label me very much wrongly if you think I hate them, etc.

But they did become a little bit polluted/corrupt, even though it was not their fault, etc. Like I said, if not them, then it just would have been another by another name that would have done exactly the same, etc. But I do just wish they would repent or do away with some of those things now, in these very last days, etc.

There is very little excuse for some of those things now, even if there were plenty of excuses before, etc.

I don't at all hate them, etc.

On the contrary, I actually very, very much love them, etc.

God Bless.

I am not judging her based on her past at all, but only what she currently is still right now, etc.

She is still involved in things now, that even a spiritual babe in Christ these days, knows is very, very wrong still now, etc.

And if you think you can deny that, then you are blind, and is why millions of millions of people are still upset with you still now, etc.

God Bless.

The things she needs to repent of nowadays, that even a baby in Christ still knows are wrong now?

Idols, riches, in bed with nations and politics and politicians still, just to name a few right now, etc.

There was an excuse for them in the past, but is not anymore now, etc.

And if she does not repent of them now, then I fear for her and those in her when Jesus comes back very, very soon now, etc.

God Bless.

I think the position assumes something that is not true: That God created things for the sake of the created things. He did not. God had a purpose and goal in His creation, and there had to be the possibility of failure, sin, and evil to achieve that purpose. Some might bristle at this.. but God actually emptied Himself of this attribute in order to accomplish His will. He had to allow for sin and evil. The creation had to be susceptible to failure and decay. What we see today is that purpose and plan playing out. God is creating a genuine family that loves Him and whom He can love. This may not fit the modern concept of theism, but I believe it to be true.

Pain, suffering, evil, all arise from disbelief, which is from the devil. He is the one who said : "Yea, hath God said...?", "Did God really say...?"..
Sin entered into the world because of Satan. He is the one who beguiled the woman, with his craftiness, and subtlety.
Jesus says about him that "he was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44)
And "hath nothing in me" adds Jesus. (John 14:30)

God is good, and there is no evil in Him. Just look at how Jesus came into the world, for sinners, not against them. To save them, not to condemn.
Those who make themselves his ennemy, He loves them. Those who curse him, He blesses them. Those who hate him, He do them good. Those who use him and persecute him, He prays for them.

"Fury is not in me" says the Lord, through His prophet Isaiah. There is no fury, no anger in God, towards man. He only does good, because it is His nature. Like a Saviour can only save, because it is His nature; He does and can not destroy.

God has shown us that we can value a painting by an artist such as Rembrandt, and a wonder such as the Grand Canyon. We don't really question the works of great things until they become flawed by another thing. God created a masterpiece and rested in his creation as it is finished. Do we question the correctness of the Rembrandt, the layout of the Grand Canyon as we are all a spot of paint in the masterpiece. Take away a spec of paint on an authentic million-dollar painting and lose its value. We are all a part of God's masterpiece, and the Clay does not question the Potter. Just drink wisely, eat pleasantly, enjoy life with the truths, know that whatever good or bad you live with is all part of the finished masterpiece of God. Don't question or disbelieve the world, just accept our Creator.
