Going to the range with my guns is a hobby. I enjoy shooting & have since I was a kid in the 60s. It's a very different world than the one I grew up in. My parents didn't have guns in their nightstands. Today I can't imagine not having a gun in my nightstand, especially when I worked night shift 35 miles away & my wife was on her own until 9:00 am. Today we have communists & anarchists threatening to come to our neighborhoods & destroy them. Nope. Not my house. We went on summer vacations all over the country growing up & my parents didn't carry guns. Today I (legally) carry a gun whenever I leave the house. Except at church. I don't know how people would feel about it & I really don't want to ask & make anyone nervous so I just don't carry them into church. I know that churches will become targets of violence in the future, maybe in my lifetime & I'd be relieved if people start carrying guns to church. For a home invasion, what are my options? Obviously prayer but what else? Defend my life, try to run or wait to die. I'll defend my life & my wife's.
