Why does "15 Questions for Evolutionists" brochure confuse the meaning of "evolution?

And, just so you know, some may be members of this particular message board for a mere hour, but are members of other message boards, as well. Plenty of new(er) members here have been members other message boards for many years.


Finally - Do you honestly think that one's longevity on a message board gives their opinion/worldview any more weight or credibility? Also, are the opinions/worldviews of new(er) members less credible and less educated, simply because they're new(er) members?

I almost threw up watching this.
1. Energy can't just turn any non living matter into a living entity. A jar of peanut butter does not contain the necessary components for life to blossom. It just contains peanut butter.
2. Assuming that there was matter in the peanut butter that could form life, it would be microscopic. Would you expect a newborn squirrel to pop out? The answer is no, because any emerging life would be very simple.

1. They couldn't tell abiogenesis from evolution, which is idiotic if you're attempting to discuss the matter.
2. "I would say this, any theory of the origin of life on earth, or any other planet as far as that's concerned, is a fairytale.". Notice how that encompasses your 'theory' as well? (I doubt he used the scientific theory when he made that argument, since it's so sloppily formulated)
3. "In fact, the entire food industry depends on the fact that evolution doesn't happen.". False. A vast majority of the food industry depends on evolution.

Anyways, that video doesn't give me any reason to suspect that abiogenesis is impossible.
