Some questions for discussion:
What is the ultimate cause of sin?
General Condition
- A general condition of the physical and imperfect world
i.e., something that is a byproduct of the world as it is.
External Forces
- Demons, evil spirits, the devil/satan,etc
Internal Forces
- Human imperfection
Implication to above - a perfect being would not sin.
Corollary - if the above is true, why would a perfect being not sin?
If, in heaven, humans no longer sin, does that imply that humans in heaven have become perfect beings?
If yes, is this through internal changes or is it a necessity given the nature of heaven, i.e., if heaven is a perfect realm and the home of a perfect being (God), then in order to maintain that perfect state, anything that enters heaven must itself be perfect - else the perfection of heaven would be violated.
Any ideas?
