The NT image of Jesus(as) is not what is Prophecized.

I think you miss the entire point of the Abraham Isaac thing, but I am not surprised by that.

I would be godless.
No I understand the main point of the story is showing the amazing faith and obedience of Abraham.
Just found an interesting site. Would you say it is accurate?-
Old Testament - The Five Offerings
I believe some people just dont know how to read there bible. But the Tanakh only contained 5 books of the torah. So i am not sure why you would compare them.I apologize for not seeing this before now.
I actually came to that conclusion while I was a Christian Nearly 30 years ago. I had been a Christian for over 40 years and had always trusted the OT to have been an accurate interpretation of the Torah and Tanakh
I discovered I was wrong upon studying the OT and comparing it with the Tanakh. My final conclusion was the OT is at best a very poor interpretation of the Tanakh and none of the Prophecies of the Messiah were fulfilled by Jesus(as).
The Jewish faith in the old testament is complete. Jesus came to show them a new way which many have not excepted for one reason or another, But the messianic Jew has (But the jew of the old testement has done away with animal sacrifice because the temple is no longer there and stoning because of modern day courts and of course animal rights.why do jews reject jesus?

but there where many prophesies of jesesus coming in the tora. which ones do you think do not line up. or why have you rejected Jesus.

One day the messianic Jew will out number the Jew and i Believe that to be when the Gentile is complete (when the gentile excepts all the teaching of the old t . like the messianic Jew has. the new t has many many teachings from the old t,, that is why the messianic Jew excepts both, apart from stoning and animal sacrifice and some other laws too.
The difference is the the Jews reject Jesus because they never got over being called hippocrits because a lot never practiced what they preached.
which can be said of anyone today.
The Jews also rejected Jesus because they had quite a few people coming before Jesus claiming to be the messiah. shalom
sorry i got mixed up there your right the Tanakh all of the books including the writings the Torah, and the prophets. but not all of the writings of the prophets where wrote in to the tora correctI agree some people do not know how to read the Bible. I have read from the perspective of a Catholic (25 years) a Baptist (About 2 years) and as a Pentecostal Preacher (Assembly of God-17-20 years)
I finally tried to read with the help of Jewish Friends from a Hebrew perspective.
My final conclusion:
None of the Prophecies in the torah point to Jesus(as) if you read it in Hebrew
The Torah is the Pentateuch, the first 5 Books of The OT. the Tanakh is the Pentateuch and the Remainder of the OT. To be understood the Tanakh has to be read in accompaniment with the Oral Torah. Basically without the oral torah the tanakh is only half there and not understandable.
The OT has also changed the order of 2 of the books of the Tanakh which changes the dates of when some events occurred.
While my Hebrew is more based upon Arabic and very limited, it is easy to see where the OT differs from the Tanakh. It is like some reverse engineering and mistranslation were done to make the Prophecies agree with the NT.
For a full listing of the Books in the Tanakh in their proper order see

Well that's OK, but i have seen many Jews preach this , that they where offended by the name calling of Jesus, but it does not matter that they where Jew.Our belief that Jesus is not the Messiah doesn't have anything to do with him calling people names in the First Century. Sure, it doesn't help that a lot of times I see name-calling instead of honest debating, but that's neither here nor there.
We don't believe Jesus is Messiah because the Messianic prophecies in the Tanach remain unfulfilled to this day. To give an example everybody can follow, let's look at the President of the United States. To be President one must:
Be at least 35 years of age
Be a natural born citizen
Have lived in the United States at least 14 years
Win the election.
Now, if I came to you and claimed that Bob Smith was the President of the United States because he was 35 years of age, a natural born citizen, and has lived in the country for 14 years, you would ask me when he won the election. If I say that he didn't, but he WILL do it later, that doesn't make him President until he does it.

Jesus became a Jew to love the Jews. he would of called anyone a hippocrit who did not practice what they preach "nor Jew nor gentile he made no distinction.
But of course at that time and of course we are all descendants from Noah, to which there is no proof Noah is Jew. Titles i don't like titles but i am ok with you giving yourself a title.
But don't let it go to your head.
The problem people do not like outsiders coming in, "both Jew and Gentile are like this" and both have problem excepting the truth.
That is why they are called hippocrits.
Every living soul is precious including Jesus a damaged mind or a damaged soul can come from people unintentionally and not knowingly causing this. shalom the bible anyone who has the spirit will not deny Jesus his teaching where love. not warJesus is nothing more special to me than any other Jew who lived in the First Century. What names he called others isn't really something I care about. I care about claims of being Messiah when the task remains unfulfilled.
The difference between Jew and Gentile is that Jew is bound to the Torah. It is our Covenant with HaShem and it is our charge to keep it. It is what we agreed to at Sinai with HaShem.
Every living soul is precious including Jesus a damaged mind or a damaged soul can come from people unintentionally and not knowingly causing this. shalom
The old testment english translation of the tanakh. does not contain all the writings of the prophets from the tanakh, i am not saying the Tanakh is false but you have still yet to show any writing from the Tanakh which you believe claim Jesus was a false messiah. The Tanakh does contain all the Prophets and books that are named in the OT. The differences are the OT is not an accurate interpretation of them. One can not interpret or understand them without the Oral Torah. Also in a few places there are what seem to be deliberate mistranslation. especially noticeable in Isiah
I said every living soul not every living body there is a diffidence between Body and soulIf everybody is special, nobody is.
We are all created in HaShem's image, so as I said, Jesus is no more special to me than any other Jew who lived in the First Century. He wasn't prophet or messiah to me.
