Hier, Paul was many things, but scientist was not one of them. You are taking him way out of context as well as abusing Scripture when you try and force him into a scientific discussion.

It's what they wrote about that interest me, not how they understood it or used it to bolster there own "chosen people" arrogance. Why then would you go from that to more words written by men...while claiming to know something more or better, when it is just more conjecture by men?
Paul never dreamed that his simple letters of correspondence (the ones that are authentic anyway) would ever be made into scripture. He would be horrified at what the Roman church did to his letters, and to himself. No, Paul wrote spiritual truth that was given to him from God. Your love for a fallible theory (ToE) and dislike for scripture are blinding you to truth. You think that pauls letters are just letters? THe man was one of the last apostles. HIs words are worth more than any scientist or theologian. Not because he was an apostle, but because he spoke truth and no lies. This however cannot be said of other men. The fact that you treat that truth like trash, and a fallible theory like ToE with great reverence, that shows where your heart is at. I would recommend admitting this to God and asking for His help. HE will surely help.
1 Timothy 2:7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

The UB was written by celestials who were present for the history of the world. We now have the history of the earth and the entire life if Jesus is Nazareth.

According to your opinion, underline your opinion, on Paul, I am twisting his words. But I don't think you really understand his message, to start with. No church is going to work for everyone. That's why we have choices among different churches today. The right church is the one that works for you. Telling someone they have to agree with you, that you are the only true church, is precisely what causes divisiveness. We are all different, so no two people are going to think alike. Historically, the major failing of Christianity ahs been its lack of tolerance, which led to violence, oppression, wars, fanaticism, and superstition.
Look, Extraneous, I don't know where you are getting you knowledge of the Bible from, but you are way, way off on the Pharisees. They were strict, and I mean really strict, Jews. They believed that every law in the OT was dictated by God and had to be obeyed to the letter. They even built a "fence" around the law. They came up with new laws to follow so that you didn't accentually break one of God's laws. They were about as rigid and intolerant as you could get. So don't give me this line that accepted any sort of diversity. Before you make comments like this, I would advise you to carefully study the Bible and biblical history.
Also, evolution claims that humans evolved from an ancestor common to both human and apes.
I did qualify my statement with the term "most evolutionists"...I love my pastor, and I think he is great company to keep! C.S. Lewis ain't bad company either! Billy Graham (who is just about more passionate and more successful in reaching souls than anyone last century) ain't half bad either.
Sorry, I thought you meant apes. If you mean common ancestry, yes, that's what the theory of evolution suggests. And so, yes, that's what many Christians, notwithstanding the majority of pentecostal, contemporary, evangelical, fundamentalist-leaning churchgoers, don't have a problem with.Theory of "evolution" is not about how man "evolved " from prehistoric apes? Its getting deep in here folks.
Thats no surprise, seeing how in the end times the Church will fall into a great apostasy.Sorry, I thought you meant apes.
