When I was growing up my mom use to wear fur jackets. Why anyone would want to wear a dead animal I do not know. But I use to wear leather jackets and leather shoes. I use to freeze wearing cotton jackets but then I got a wool high school jacket and I was surprised how warm it was. I also got a down jacket and that was very warm in the winter. Even though my dad hated it because it was not as stylish as he would want for us. I still have a down sleeping bag that both of my sons loved. Even though they are 20 years apart in age. That has to be God that those feathers have not deteriorated over the years.

Clothing is very difficult to research because it is very thin and does not survive over time. We do have sowing needles from 40,000 years ago; So they had to have clothing to go up out of africa into the colder climate of the middle east. In the area were they replaced the Neanderthal. We also had fishing hooks, nets and baskets. So we know that people stayed close to the water and they had fish to eat.

Science has put a huge amount of study and research into understanding the beginning of civilization 6,000 years ago in the MIddle East. When man went from a hunter gather to a food producer and the population exploded because they had food to eat. We need to do more than to study science and our Bible. We need to study History also.

It makes no mention of machines, unless you are calling the animals whose skins they originally were "machines".
