We don't know that it was. Although this was the first public release of some of that material, that doesn't mean it wasn't submitted as evidence at trial. Indeed, that was one of the problems that prosecutors faced -- there was so much documentary evidence that providing it to defenses became a cottage industry for which they had to create a monumental database of who is featured in what video.why the recording was withheld from the defense attorney and judge.
I do think her conclusion is extreme, but at least she appeals to evidence thats corroborated across the board. Unlike the my pillow hallucinations of Trump people.
Where is the evidence that even one vote was changed by Russia?I do think her conclusion is extreme, but at least she appeals to evidence thats corroborated across the board. Unlike the my pillow hallucinations of Trump people.
They weren't "ushering" him around. They were corralling him towards the exit in an effort to clear the building. CHP and DC Metro who were called in were outnumbered 10 or more to 1. There were very few detentions and fewer arrests due to the number of people, the sensitivity of the location and the decision to clear the Capitol as soon as possible so certification proceedings could continue. As I've said before I'm not a Tucker fan. I saw the footage for myself, I want to know what the Capitol police were doing ushering the guy around throughout the Capitol and why the recording was withheld from the defense attorney and judge. That is a violation of the U.S. Constitution. Those attorneys on the select committee knew better and they need to be held accountable.
Can you please cite any Democrat claiming that Russia "stole" the election? More importantly, why are you denying the 2019 Senate Intelligence Committee report that detailed how extensive and pervasive Russian influence in the 2020 election was? Then Hillary Clinton has brain damage along with all the Democrats who claimed Russia stole the 2016 presidential election
Oh brother! Not this bogus trope AGAIN!If only blm and ANTIFA were guilty of this non violence. But still called mostly peaceful.
Youre talking about the conclusion. My claim was not about the conclusion. Its about the evidence she appeals to, the evidence of Russian interference, which is solid.Where is the evidence that even one vote was changed by Russia?
It is not just about Kenosha! Geesh. We sat and watched all summer, long violence, desruction of property etc. Called "mostly peaceful" protests. It was on our televisions, on social media, day after day. And you bring up Kenosha?Oh brother! Not this bogus trope AGAIN!
The chyron to which you allude was accurate. For one thing, the Kenosha rioting was neither BLM nor Antifa (which I always feel the need to stress are two separate entities with divergent goals).
In Kenosha there were peaceful demonstrations during the daytime, but, as can happen after sundown, when it got dark the miscreants came out and engaged in arson and other property destruction.
Again, the chyron was correct, and I really wish Conservatives would utilize critical thinking skills and fact check, rather than seeing/hearing memes or allusions to them on social media, Fox, talk radio, and parroting them ad nauseam.
Show me proof that one vote was changed by Russian influence. Can you please cite any Democrat claiming that Russia "stole" the election? More importantly, why are you denying the 2019 Senate Intelligence Committee report that detailed how extensive and pervasive Russian influence in the 2020 election was?
If the cops thought this guy was such a violent insurrectionist, they wouldn't have been acting as his tour guide to help him get into the Senate chamber.'Hey, look. Here's some footage that shows nothing much at all happening.'
Gee, if this isn't the dumbest argument we get this week I'll be astonished. I can see this being used in trials from now on in by people with an IQ around ambient room temperature:
'But what about the times I wasn't beating her!'
And this from a network that admits they don't give you the truth to maintain their share price. How gullible does one have to be to trust people who actually admit that they lie to you?
They "corralled" him right into the Senate chamber.
The cop who lead him around at one point said he could not do anything because there were four. But when he was accompanying Jacob, and I don't know why he was, they walked through a group of six Capitol police. I think that had they wanted him out that seven cops could have removed him. Instead why was he escorted around? This is a completely different portrayal than was given by the select committee, and their withholding of material evidence in a criminal trial, and concealing it from the public, was unethical at least. Then Hillary Clinton has brain damage along with all the Democrats who claimed Russia stole the 2016 presidential election
The defense attorney has publicly said that footage was withheld from him.We don't know that it was. Although this was the first public release of some of that material, that doesn't mean it wasn't submitted as evidence at trial. Indeed, that was one of the problems that prosecutors faced -- there was so much documentary evidence that providing it to defenses became a cottage industry for which they had to create a monumental database of who is featured in what video.
It sure didn't look that way to me.They weren't "ushering" him around.
It explains why the defense attorney wasn't allowed to have this video for a trial against his client. It just didn't support the "he's a violent insurrectionist!" narrative. Concealing it supports the "We don't have any real evidence against this guy, but we need to say we 'did something', so let's put this guy in prison" narrative. It didn’t look anything like that, especially when he passed through the group of Officers and they just stood there
There really should be an investigation into Ashley Babbitt’s murderIt explains why the defense attorney wasn't allowed to have this video for a trial against his client. It just didn't support the "he's a violent insurrectionist!" narrative. Concealing it supports the "We don't have any real evidence against this guy, but we need to say we 'did something', so let's put this guy in prison" narrative.
I hope there will be an investigation into this, with the people who concealed evidence put in prison to serve out Jacob Chansley's prison term. Those who were on the Jan. 6th Committee who put on a big show for the public on TV should be first in line to be investigated.
They already decided not to. They decided for themselves that they did nothing wrong:There really should be an investigation into Ashley Babbitt’s murder
Over the probably thousands of hours of footage that were taken, are you expressing astonishment that Tucker and his cronies were not able to find a few minutes to show you where nothing was happening?Brain damage or not, there was nothing in the footage to be in jail for. They were denied the footage. The first time him and his attorney seen it was through Carlson.
None of his rights were denied. He pleaded guilty. And his request for a mental assessment was granted. If you think that his attorney asked for something and was denied it, then put up. Show us what it was. Otherwise please stop wasting my time. Not if his rights were denied.
