Yea for me the world ended in 2012. But life kept going on. And it was like weird. The Earth didn't move. The Christians were still here. So I went insane, clearly the Christian Hijacked Mayan prediction was the rapture. But -- I don't know where to go with this it's too silly --

I believe they are here because In their hearts they are seeking the truth. Their disdain of spiritual matters is a smoke screen as they continue to glean evidence they so desparatly desire. They dog this website, throwing every imaginable trick they can at believers to achieve clarification on matters that haunt them. After all, they are cold....not lukewarm. A lukewarm person would not waste their time. They are the ones who have been inoculated with just enough of The Good News to prevent becoming infected. But not these guys.
I say stay in there swinging, guys. You know if you hang around a barbershop long enough, eventually you're going to get a haircut.
To believers I say they may very well someday be some of the most powerful and effective preachers of the Gospel among us.
Besides, they do a great job of honing our faith. What would we do without them?

It always amazes me when someone accepts "god willed it"as an answer to how the universe came to be. How is that even an answer? Will carries one through action...it's not an action of itself. Nothing ever has nor ever will be willed to be.

Did Satan blind us because we don't believe or, is it that we don't believe because he blinded us? It's hard to tell with your post.

It's not that I don't understand the message. I get the gist of it just fine. Is just that I find it impossible and incompatible with reality and rooted in superstition and the fear of death. And I just honestly don't care about it at all. I don't care what Christians believe happens to people after they die, just like I don't care what Buddhists believe happens to people after they die. I believe my consciousness is wholly dependent on my physical body. When it dies, so will all my awareness, and that sucks, yeah... but... that's life, I guess.
