Just because someone said it, doesn't mean it will happen. That seems to me as an excuse to try and explain why it is not happening in the most passionate Charismatic crusades where multitudes are believing as hard as they can for healing. There is a lot of naming and claiming, but all that can be achieved is slaying in the Spirit, shaking, jerking, nodding, rolling around the floor screaming.

And there are different schools of thought concerning whether there is going to be a Tribulation. Ask the people of Ukraine about that. Perhaps they will tell you that they are going through their Tribulation right now!

It is stated in scripture in Revelation 11:1-6. =)

Some are against signs and wonders but Jesus, while on earth, said look at the signs and wonders "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in Him." John 10:37-38

But the Jews ended up not believing Him. They had Him killed!

Based on what you,'re posting on some threads is a cessationist perspective while criticizing others including ministries - which someone 's already reminded that,'s not according to guidelines.
I'm not cessationist. I just want to see evidence of real healings backed up with actual medical evidence that a miracle has taken place. I want to see words of knowledge coming from a preacher who is not reading things off from his iPhone. I want to hear prophecies that genuinely predict world events, such as Covid-19, the Teleban takeover of Afganistan, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Christchurch earthquake, the California wildfires, the destructive tornadoes in the mid-west that has wiped out whole communities.

Once I see the actual demonstration backing up the speech-making then I will happily accept it.

Hi.. not here with the answers. Just how I see it. I can give so many personal examples or about the grandmother that had a bible study with her husband. She prayed 4 hours a day and if you had a need she went right to the word prayed it. And GOD as my witness happened every time.. as in answered. Never meet anyone with such power of GOD. They just believed Gods word.

Thats it huh. Peter and John at the gate they didn't seek fast ask GOD to heal that man. Did they have something we done? No.. filled with the sweet sweet holy Spirit (Luke 11:13). After all said and done what did they say? In short...why do you look at us as if we did this by our own power? ITS FAITH IN THAT NAME! How many times did Jesus say "YOUR FIATH has made you whole"? Not His faith your faith. The woman after what 15 years? FAITH said if I just touch his hem.. what did Jesus say? WHO TOUCHED ME? Power went out of me. He didn't do anything. Her faith made her whole. We should know by now being Christian does not mean only WE can use faith :) And faith works both ways.

So yes I see doubt has really played its part. Did He not tell us in His word if we doubt were like a ship tossed back and forth .. and that let not that man think he will get ANYTHING from God? Yeah.. then if we KNOW He hears us then we KNOW we have the petitions/prayers we asked for. I could go on and on. When I was in my 20's back of the church with a friend asking him why who that woman up there was since she was crying kind a jumping screaming. He said "see all the people here? About 1/2 came with her she was blind". NOT ANY MORE! That never made the papers. Start to go from state to state to hospitals and ask Doctors to tell you what they can not explain. Things that are impossible yet oddly NEVER EVER make the news. I could have a missing tooth and then gets healed with a new one and .. most would just say.. wow praise GOD.. or ok. In the usa we don't believe yet in 3rd world nations you just talk about magic or voodoo and they have so many stories. They believe so GOD is there doing all kinds of signs. So they will hear His word.

Its not what I say or any group. I just read what He said.. not what I see not what I feel not what I hear. No matter how dark it gets stand and not hope not wonder you KNOW! This comes by getting to KNOW HIM! How? read that word.. KNOW He will talk to you... KNOW He said if He said it He will do it. FAITH! We watch what we want we say what we want. We watch movies with all kind of magic and you name it things that GOD told us are wrong yet.. pffft we can handle it. YES Nothing bad happens.. only GOD is not that close. There is a cost to see these things in our lifes and as He said most do not want to pay the price. Read His word.. walk in 1st cor 13. PRAY about EVERYTHING in your life. WORK your faith! Speak words of life. See GOOD in others not the bad. KNOW the sweet holy Spirit is real and TALKS! talk time to listen. Thats read and pray and then listen.. not just once.. never stop! You never say. oh He does not want to talk to me. YOu said it..thats what get. He already told you His sheep know/hear His voice. So you know He will.. like healing.. NEVER put GOD on some TIME clock. KNOW He already died rose.. By His strips you WERE not might be could be but WERE healed. Peter and John again.. its FAITH in that name. They NEVER asked GOD to heal that man! We keep asking GOD to do something He ready did. We think we have the faith but.. there are SO many time GOD in times we don't have the faith does wonders..

Anyway forgive me not here to offend and its very late and tried. for me its faith. I have to keep knowing no matter what I see hear or feel He will as He always has keeps His word. You NEVER get to rest in this. I mean its always a fight. This flesh will fight you all the time. Read pray always.. and KNOW He is for you...loves you Speak HIS WORD

God is sovereign. He decides who He is going to heal and who He allows to remain sick. It is not about how much faith we have. It doesn't matter how hard we believe for a healing, it won't make any difference to God's sovereignty about it.

If God decides for a person to remain sick or disabled, it is not that person's fault, and therefore a sick person should not be accused of not having enough faith. Job's friends accused him of sinning as the reason why he lost all his possessions, his family, and his health. What his friends didn't know, and what we know is that what happened to Job was because of a conversation between God and Satan. Job could have quoted Scripture until the cows came home, and believed as hard as he could, but it wouldn't have made any difference to his condition. What happened to him was that God stepped in and challenged him about darkening counsel without knowledge. When Job prayed for his friends, everything was restored to him two-fold.

We live in a fallen world where sickness and disease are a part of it. People get sick and die. That is part of the course for all of us. God sometimes, through His grace, heals some people. He heals people who have very little faith, and leaves people sick who have great faith in Christ. Faith is not the factor about whether people get healed or not. Healing happens through God's grace and His sovereignty.

Jesus healed many during his three-year ministry for a particular purpose - to show the Jews that He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Peter saw the miracles and believed and got the revelation that Christ the Son of the Living God. But the Jews in general did not believe in Him in spite of the miracles. The miracles that occurred through Paul's Gospel preaching happened for the same reason - to show Jews and Gentiles that Christ was the Son of God who had risen from the dead. But he came under fearful persecution wherever he went, and was finally beheaded in Rome.

I think that preaching the Gospel of Christ that Paul preached takes priority over miracles. Miracles can happen while the Gospel is preached, but are not compulsory. People are converted to Christ when the Holy Spirit convicts them of sin, righteousness and judgment to come.

I think it's because when Jesus, who is God, walked this earth in flesh and blood, His presence in the earth in that way at that time changed or charged the whole atmosphere. The anointing was so strong on the earth at that time and after His death for a time. That atmosphere made more people have faith and believe more so than today.
Also today because of the rise in belief in science and, that becomes a stumbling block to people just letting go and having faith. We have too much knowledge these days for our own good when it comes to miracles. We understand diseases and illnesses and genetics and mental illness so much so that it gets in the way of faith in a miracle. Then add in the many thousand charlatans in the world faking miracles and it all adds up to people unable to have the kind of faith needed for a miracle. When genetics and how diseases worked were a mystery to people back then, it was easier for them to just have faith in God for a miracle. It's good to have that knowledge, but the side effect is that knowledge becomes a stumbling block for faith.

You know what, the same bible that says you are saved believing in Jesus, says 'for his stripes we were healed' and a lot more passages insist: 'I am your healer' 'i am the one who heals you'
'not forget any of his benefits, he is who heals all your sickness, who rescues you from the pit, who fills you of favours'

So its our fault not his.

I am firm believer God wants to heal everyone, of course he may permit some suffering sometimes, but is the will of God we get healed.

And then there's the matter of spiritual compatibility.

The spiritual result produced through these activities, is it trinitarian or is it modalist? Jesus prayed that we be one like He and the Father are one. With that degree of spiritual intimacy, if the church gets it wrong, everyone gets magicked instead.

It took a while to begin to reverse what was done to me

I notice that the third and fourth videos talked about medical evidence, but none was actually forthcoming. My view is that the miracle for the good doctor is the income he is making from the sale of his book. I remain skeptical.

As a matter of interest, I met up with Carl just before I left Auckland to come and live in Christchurch. We spent an afternoon over coffee, and I found him to be an honest and sincere person and not one to fabricate any experience. Therefore, I have no option but to believe that the healings that he saw through his prayers actually did happen. I think that his ministry is unique and definitely has no similarity to the Word-Faith preachers that we see making claims on Youtube videos.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isa 53:5 He is Christ Jesus

"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Pro 4

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matt 28

Jesus said
"And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." Matt 10

"And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick." Luk 9

"And everybody's fav "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16

Also, "But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. ..." I Pet 1:25

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Matt 24:35

I notice people who use this passage often ignore Matthew 10:5, which is just 2-3 verses before this.

Why do you think that is the case?

Interesting point! Perhaps the instruction that Jesus gave when He sent the twelve out into the villages and towns were just for them in that situation and not necessarily for anyone else at any time. The interesting question is: Did Philip disobey the command of the Lord by taking the Gospel to the Samaritans, and did Paul also disobey the Lord by taking the Gospel with the associated signs and wonders to the Gentiles?

Paul was made an apostle to the gentiles, by the ascended Christ himself (Acts 22:21).
