And that is exactly what I am doing or am learning right now my friend...

That's not going to happen.

It's why you have this thread in the first place, isn't it? The church is not manifesting the greater gifts lately like they used to, and you're wondering why?!?

There are a whole heap of people doing what you just said in that post and having no results,... maybe people should try a different approach.

Education has a lot to do with preparation, etc, and there are a lot of good things on it in this thread so far I think, etc...

You mean knowledge?

Our education down here has nothing to do with GOD's ability to operate through us,.... if it was so we would have millions upon millions of Christians operating in those higher end gifts right now since so many have put forth so much time with their college credentials.

It's a two way relationship with GOD, He's not going to do it all for us, but we want it to be Him and not us in the end, so we must "present ourselves approved unto GOD."

How does one do that?

I am recently being taught about God's Kingdom being in me and with me, and maybe being me I think, by the Holy Spirit I think, and we're currently working on how to take it out and/or "onto", or "whatever", etc, the/that other kingdom that is out there, etc...?

Something I am still right now still learning about still, etc...

Sorry, I should have said "in the school of the Holy Spirit" maybe, etc, because I most definitely didn't mean "education" in the secular or worldly sense that can often take you away from the Spirit, etc...

It is always in God's will not ours. Paul Himself asked for healing and he did not get it. Neither did Timothy as Paul told him to drink some wine to help his stomach. We should not focus so much on our flesh as it does nothing for our spirit. Blessings

Clearly, and there is that element to it. Which is why I said being open to the Spirit is absolutely paramount to the whole ordeal. Without the Holy Spirit telling us to do this or do that then it won't matter. That's why to me, having a relationship with the Spirit where I can clearly hear his voice and know his leading is essential to walking in power.

If there was not a problem, you would have not started this thread, right? If it was as easy as you say it is, by just spending all your waking moments praying to GOD and everything else will follow,.... why do we have this condition in the church?

The Spirit teaches you in the quote/unquote "wilderness", etc, so more time spent there at different times in your life, or at a lot of times during your life, or regularly throughout your life, is more time spent in His School there, etc...

Calling it as I see it... Most of what we would consider the church is not "the Church". I do not for a second believe the 2 billion people on this planet that call themselves Christians are actually so. So what does that leave us?

A big part of what I was saying is not just having a relationship with the Spirit, but knowing what the Spirit is saying to us and seeing how he is operating. Jesus said he could do nothing on his own only what he saw the Father doing John 5:19. If Jesus, the Son of God could only operate as such, how much more do we need that?

So again, building a relationship based on intimacy, quality time, learning the Spirits voice and being open to his leading, and WAITING for him to lead. Not putting the cart before the horse.

The big issue is Christians quote verses like, these signs will follow those who believe and run with it. While true, they leave out the part about waiting to be led. The sheep never go before the Shepherd. The waiter doesn't serve until the one they are serving tells them wait to do or what they want.

Just how I see it. But I don't for a second think that walking in power can be attained any other way. Just because people say they are doing this or that doesn't negate that. It just means the Spirit has yet to direct such things at that point.

The part that people have not attained to is having The Holy Spirit resting upon them in power,... then the power gifts would operate.

Oh man, the "hurry up and the now wait", "thing", kills me sometimes man... Especially when it's being done in the "wilderness", etc... But it's teaching me a lot though, etc...

Actually, when the time comes, during the Tribulation for example as I earlier said, signs will be making a glorious comeback. That will happen regardless of how the rest of us feel or do.

But be careful what you wish for though. When they make a comeback, you have to worry about false signs and wonders as well, which will mislead people. (Matthew 24:24, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-9)

You could do that and plateau,... or you could take Smith Wigglesworth's example and read GOD's word everyday as much as possible and go beyond that plateau.
