Why are some people so unkind?

I have had many dealings with bad and nasty people over the years and I believe that I have made most of them very sorry for their actions. You see I look like and acct like I am very timid but that is just on the surface.

I have never taken revenge on anyone just some on the spot situations in life. Sometimes we can confuse punishment with revenge or attack but as you say God can decide on each person's merits.

Then what does "I have made most of them very sorry for their actions" mean?

Very well said I think we would do better talking about alternatives to our problems rather than dwelling on past situations as we can help each other with life difficulties.

whatever you do your not condemned but what is the best thing we can do?

do we get mad at someone who disagrees with us in a gruff manner or minister the love and understanding and a decisive blow with the truth with a clear head.

an eye for an eye is still true when leveled to someone once in a while.

And still truly taught against. If someone gives another the eye-for-an-eye treatment... then God will have to revenge Himself on both of the people involved. As much as we want to avenge our hurt feelings and/or bodies... making ourselves into even badder bad-men won't help us. And if we do that often enough, then "bad" becomes our personality. Patient endurance is commanded of those who abide in Messiah. Otherwise we are taken down by our own methods:

Well like one example I have been verbally attacked at work and the person doing it was often on my back and harassing me and being very nasty with their words and attitude towards me and one day he tried it on me and I snapped yelling at him and I made him sit down and I made him repeat after me not to deal with me in a negative and aggressive manner ever again and he looked like he was about to cry as I had shocked him into submission. So that is one example of making someone sorry. And sure I have had some punch ups with people a long time ago in my early 20,s at the club on the street ext. but they started it by throwing the first punch.

Sure... if you don't mind being barked at even louder the next time.

But I don't actually believe that it takes two to make an argument... because, I've seen a person get even madder at someone who refuses to participate. If you really want to make someone sorry for ever yelling at you, do that. But, CAUTION: for at least the next couple of times, he will continue to get louder. And he may be doing a lot more than just yelling, eventually. Full-blown temper-tantrums in a full-grown adult... not pretty.

Was he just trying to get your attention, the whole time? Or does he argue just to argue? Is he the product of team-sports and the competitve-spirit which that whole mess promotes? Is team-sports like old video-games or modern online-gaming... young people being groomed for war? Is it these modern adrenaline-junkies looking for a fix? Is it the product of a largely sedentary nation being bored and atrophied by inactivity? Is this why the Roman Empire ended... luxurious decadence caused by too much easy-success and waaay too much leisure-time?

Bullies seem to be the only people on Earth who don't mind confrontation. Sure, sometimes it takes a quart of jack to get them that way, but the outcome is the same. Bullies are actually sorta like the yipping Chihuahua... they yip because they're scared... not because they're Rottweilers at heart. But then, maybe some drunks are actually painfully shy, and by trying to come out of their shells that way, they become alcohol-poisoned ninja-Pekingese... not ninja-turtles, nope.

No worries Ligurian I am really a very gentle natured person it's not uncommon for me to cry and when I do cry it would be 99% for someone else that has touched my heart with the pain that they are feeling . I love my wife and son and I try to show respect to my Neighbours. It's not easy protecting yourself and maintaining your dignity but I have spent a big part of my life watching out for others that can't protect themselves and watching out for myself as well. If someone was harassing or trying to harm you I would be the first person to put a very fast stop to that.

No worries Ligurian I am really a very gentle natured person it's not uncommon for me to cry and when I do cry it would be 99% for someone else that has touched my heart with the pain that they are feeling . I love my wife and son and I try to show respect to my Neighbours. It's not easy protecting yourself and maintaining your dignity but I have spent a big part of my life watching out for others that can't protect themselves and watching out for myself as well. If someone was harassing or trying to harm you I would be the first person to put a very fast stop to that.

Crying... I'm so over that. Now I'm a buck-up butter-cup person. Neighbors... I don't do to others what I don't want done to me. Because I don't like snoops, I mind my own business, etc. ...All in all, I'm sorta like the mule walking on a road made out of dead men's bones. I don't keep my eye on the road, because I can't fix anything I see there. I keep my eyes on the horizon and just keep walking. And I share what I've learned, because that's the only thing I have to give.

Yes you are very correct in saying that people that watch porn are very likely to have problems in their life and some of the problems asosiated can be violence and bad communication with others. and when I said that people that have done me wrong I have made sorry I didn't mean in a revenging way as I have always dealt with my enemy on the spot, not at some later time and it was almost always only a yelling match with me pooting them in their place. I am sorry for taking your post personally as I can see now that you were speaking in a more general way.
