Why are some people so unkind? I have been searching for the answer most of my life as I come across this strange phenomenon daily. But I am a big boy and I can take it.

On TV news and on internet forums, we will always see a concentration of some of the more unkind people in the nation.

Evil things make the TV news, and internet forums are a convenient place for those that want to be unkind to others anonymously to have easy access to victims, where often they can get away with subtle (or sometimes unsubtle) attacks on others.

So, there is an artificial concentration of unkindness in those 2 mediums.

This is another reason we need the prayer Christ gave us to pray each day.

I have had many dealings with bad and nasty people over the years and I believe that I have made most of them very sorry for their actions. You see I look like and acct like I am very timid but that is just on the surface.

Maybe you should go back to the start and see just who is pushing the buttons I'm sure there are others that can see and read.

Only God is pure and able to revenge without becoming a hypocrite.

The obvious excuse for being mean is retaliation. The reason for the retaliation is a bit harder to see, in most cases. But sometimes it just offers Dr. Jekyl an excuse to become Mr. Hyde. Or it's the product of an abused childhood where other people become that parent with the heavy-hand.

Because your real enemies will curse you and persecute you specifically because you follow the Messiah. It's THESE people who need our prayers:

But who is praying for them today, other than the two witnesses?

If you want to know what this love truly is, the church of brotherly love... aka, Philadelphia, Revelation 3:7-13... is praying for Judah's remnant.

Yes you are very correct in saying that people that watch porn are very likely to have problems in their life and some of the problems asosiated can be violence and bad communication with others. and when I said that people that have done me wrong I have made sorry I didn't mean in a revenging way as I have always dealt with my enemy on the spot, not at some later time and it was almost always only a yelling match with me pooting them in their place. I am sorry for taking your post personally as I can see now that you were speaking in a more general way.

I have never taken revenge on anyone just some on the spot situations in life. Sometimes we can confuse punishment with revenge or attack but as you say God can decide on each person's merits.

Be slow to speak quick to listen and quick to forgive. I don’t think talking about all this is doing any good. Why voice all your feelings and thoughts about a certain subject and come up with nothing. The Bible say a fool expresses all his thoughts and feelings. Unkindness should be handled with the lord and hopefully in a godly way. Too much is just arguing and causing hurt feelings and making enemies. It much different when you are confronted by a person. You can perceive more and you have a choice how to act. But all this just causes stubbornness and a wall to be formed for when you do have that choice. We should represent Christ to the grumpy and not our own stubborn reactions. To wrongs don’t make a right. But one godly one can.
