It of course depends upon who is reading the Bible. As one can see here Christianity is a bit of a smorgasbord religion. Believers tend to pick out only parts of the Bible to believe.Nope!

I've always considered Him to be a socialist. Or perhaps more in the mould of the more modern social democrat. Which Americans seem to class as socialism.
Yet I keep telling you that I haven’t.

I see that you missed the point. You're right, it does depend on "who" is reading the Bible. Thanks for emphasizing how reletive and non-absolute your prior suggestion (claim?) is.
So, I guess we don't have to all just jump onboard the "Jesus was a Communist" bandwagon.
That 'for ever and ever' might refer to ages? No. It would be difficult. As it's used constantly throughout the bible. And in all cases obviously means...for ever. So hell is a punishment that goes on...for ever and ever.
Of course there's nothing bad about it.Which I don't consider to be a bad thing. Jesus reminded us of many moral positions that we should adopt. The main one being the Golden Rule. If that's all you take from his teachings then it's an excellent base for developing a personal morality.
I see that you missed the point.

Nice try, but wrong as usual. Of course mind readers almost always fail. No, I see that you simply need to retract your "I'm going to drop a smoke-bomb of a point in sub-consciously relating Jesus to what people with think is some social legal ideology akin to that of Marx and Engels, or similar thinkers."
You've missed the point behind the point!

If onevwants to use Christanity as a vehicle for
delivering the message, why not, other than there
seems a lot of totally extraneous trappings.
My objection is just to seeing Christians trying to assume
exclusive credit to their religion, for folk wisdom found
throughout the worlds cultures.
Does that mention punishment? No your incorrect
“Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.”
Matthew 12:32 NASB1995

I hope that you don't mind being treated as you treat others.
I would not know about that. I am merely hoping for an honest interlocutor. The double-talk on the part of invasive atheists knows no bounds, ay, Subduction Zone?
But if you had a clear, original point (one that you seem to be back-peddling from now), what was it? That ... Jesus was a Communist?
Philosophy majors are the most tiresome people oncampus[the internet].
Not necessarily. But I guess I won't get to argue the point with you since, well, you don't like to read books outside of your interests zone.

There'll be a reading list shortly.
I don't know many people who do. And you won't be arguing anything at all if you simply suggest more homework and another book to read. But again, as you must have read the one you suggested earlier, were there any examples in that one that credited Jesus for any unique teachings that were responsible for the moral advancement of society? Finding them was meant to be easy I believe.
