Why are men okay with no commitment?

I don't understand how anyone can be happy alone but so many guys are fine with sex only and that's all they seek. Why don't they need a real relationship like us women? Don't they get sick of hanging with men only?

I rarely have anything to talk about with other women and have little interest in friendships. All I care about is a romantic relationship with one person that I can grow really close to. How come guys don't need that level of connection?

Is there a way I can be just as heartless as men?

Because men enjoy the hunt. They see women as something to hunt and capture, and consume.
The reason they are happy with nothing but sex, is because that's what women let them have, far before they deserve it. Women have lowered the cost of sex, and it has hurt the security of women and children in society.

If women would refuse to give men sex outside of a real relationship within wedlock, it would do everyone good.

Men maybe most of all.

Modern society has made marriage a very dangerous thing for men.. With the divorce laws as they are it really is like walking into a mine field for men.. So these days a lot of men are avoiding marriage all together, They are learning to get on with their own lives and discovering how to find reason and fulfillment without woman and marriage and Children..

Take heart, not all men are about meaningless encounters, ships in the night, etc. I think there are actually a lot of men who would like to get married, they just have to find a woman they think is worth marrying. Jettix is right, in a way. Anne Bolyne was pursued pretty aggressively by Henry VIII. She could have been his mistress (her sister took that unseemly route). But Anne held out for marriage. Henry had to have her, so marry her he did. He had to have her so much that he created a whole new religion in order to marry her.

Of course, Anne did end up getting her head chopped off. Fortunately, there are not many kings around to be dangerous in this way.

All kidding aside, there are marriage minded men- just like there are marriage minded women.
