Who would you prefer to warn you of impending danger.

Who would you want to warn you of a tornado: a gay or a straight meteorologist?

  • A gay meteorologist.

  • A straight meteorologist: gays have reprobate minds and are not capable of issuing warnings.

  • I don't care: JUST ISSUE THE WARNING!!!

How do I know the fundamentalist Christian fireman won't get me out on the ladder and then push me off the ladder?

Wouldn't I be just as dead after falling 26 stories as I would be from smoke inhalation?

I mean: just because I'm not going to tell you to go outside and look at the approaching EF-4 tornado doesn't mean I'm going to trust the fundamentalist Christian fireman to get me out of the building (alive)!

If you are serious, you need to post a sign out your window to inform the fire departments that you would rather be burned alive that be rescued by someone that thinks homosexuality is a sin. You scream out the window, "If you think homosexuality is a sin, dont bother coming up, I'll just burn!"

I wold personally want the most capable meteorologist to warn me of the impending doom. Knowing that person was the best would mean that they would most likely be accurate

I don't care whether they are gay, straight, pink with purple spots or wear a gumboots on their head, its whether they can do the job that counts

Is there any protection for gay people in the work place. We have the human rights act which states that discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation is unlawful, do you americans have the same protection

Wouldn't it be simpler for all involved if I held up a big sign which simply read:

CAUTION!

DANGER OF CONTAGION!

MAY BE INFECTED WITH HOMOSEXUAL

Only in certain states.

As a general rule, Northern states, Northeastern states and states bordering the Pacific Ocean have antidiscrimination policies which include gay people.

Southern states such as Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, North and South Carolina and Virginia are expected to follow suit sometime around the year 2150, when these states are finally dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 20th century.

Well, if anybody would know about that kind of stuff -- it would be you, MercyBurst.

I read about it in the bible. There are two churches, and one is a harlot in Babylon.

Some of the rest of us need to stay on top of our day jobs, especially when they involve warning the general public.

I'm just warning christians. The others aren't listening to the bible anyway.

Peeing in a bucket of drinking water wouldn't be a very CHRISTIAN thing to do, would it?

just flavoring it for you.:D

Well -- at least REAL Christians wouldn't do something like that. On the other hand, I suppose we could test the water for traces of THC... :)

you mean PHC.

How about this: you're dying in a hospital and two angels show up. One says he's taking you to Heaven, which is reserved for Methodists, Lutherans, United Presbyterians, Episcopalians and Catholics; and the other one is taking you to the place where fundamentalists go.

Which would you choose?

As for me: I would ask the angel where you and Der Alter went, and choose the other place.
AMEN!!!:swoon:

...no one did anything until straight people started dying?
tulc(after all it was Gods judgement until then, after that it was a health crisis) :sorry:
In the US yes. In South Africa it hit us gay, straight, black or white. One time. Swaziland is expected to lose half their population by 2010. South Africa is expected to lose about 20% by that same time. The Aids epidemic is on an exponential rise here. It's scary when people brush it off as a white man disease or a gay disease. Aids does not discriminate.

God's punishment? ridiculous.

Gee. Do you think it might be possible that I know them better than you do, seeing as how I'm a meteorologist and I deal with meteorologists?

back in the 1980's in Sacramento we had a meteorologist named Stormin' Norman. His station used to run promos with him before the JCOS when he was in the military giving weather reports.

ROTFL, of course he was fired when a police sting caught him "sharing" a Macys restroom stall with another man. He was standing in a shopping bag so that it would look like there was only one person in the stall.

I heard in some areas in Africa (I think or was it the middle east) that a man believes if He has sex with a virgin girl, then he can cure himself of aids. Of course all that happens in the young girl gets aids as well

Gods punishment dont make me laugh. Thats the sort of ignorant bilge spewed by the fred phelps crew. What have children dying of aids done to deserve it:doh:

I heard it was in Africa, and that this is part of the reason why sometimes even babies get raped.

You know, you're the only person that seems to have bias and prejudice here.

EVERY person that has answered your silly question has said they dont care if the meterologist is gay. You on the other hand, keep making snide remarks about a hypothetical fireman that thinks homosexuality is a sin. Then, you make prejudiced remarks about the South.

It seems to me that not only do you have a chip on your shoulder about "eveybody's hates me because I'm gay", but you also have a biased and prejudiced opinion of others (fundamentalist, southerns, etc.) Maybe you should get that LOG out of your eye first.

Look what happened when the gays tried to warn us about the AIDS epidemic.

So, gays tried to warn you all about AIDS, but straights ended up catching AIDS anyway and now it's rampant among African and Asian heterosexual men and women (and black females in the U.S.), which means you should not listen to a tornado warning issued by a gay meteorologist.

Assuming you live in central Texas, you should close now this message so that the others can be forewarned.

[Have you closed this message?]

[Good.]

[Don't read this, BAFIELD. This is weather information provided by a
homosexual. You may get homosexual
cootie-713768.jpg
just by reading this message, and then you'll have teh ghey.]

A line of severe thunderstorms with wind gusts to 70 mph, nickel-sized hail and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning is moving through central Texas and should be through Rockdale, Austin, Johnson City and Fredericksburg by 8:30 a.m.; and Bastrop, Lockhart, San Marcos and Kerrville by 9 am.

The line of thunderstorms extends from Rockdale westward to near Fort Stockton.

Severe thunderstorm watch number 427 is in effect for central Texas until noon today.
