LOL @ you guys.
You know, I have never once hit the report button. Maybe I'm too passive, myself..but it takes a lot for me to consider something to be in need of an actual "report".
By the way, where is this area you guys are seeing the reports from? *feeling rather dorky* I've looked..and not found.

I'm okay with it being a joke (about Conklin) but I've seen some pretty vicious things said on another message board (about weight loss no less) and the inevitable "LOL" or "J/K" at the end of it.
Maybe we should all just work on being less sensitive?
I've seen the "Lol" and "jk" things so many times, including while chatting to friends. I use them myself..but there are cases where it's just taken too far. Some things are just
not funny, but sadly I think humor has gone into a different direction today than it used to be. Just look at the late night shows..making fun of people is funny? Since when?
I somehow doubt Jesus would have enjoyed that kind of humer, eh?

I really prefer SDA moderators over non-SDA moderators in the SDA main forum and sub-forums.
I think we all do, Daryl. Problem is there aren't enough Adventists that seem to want the job. It wont be fair on poor Doc if he ends up being one of the only Mods, especially with all the new rules we'll be making.
If it turns out that we don't end up with many, I'll do my best to try and find the time to become one in a little while. Still, though...
