There are many neutral countries to get Blue Helmets from.
Sure.

All Russia needs to do is withdraw to the limits of its internationally recognised borders.

That can include Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

Then the UN can oversee a peace agreement, Russia can be prosecuted for its systematic war crimes and the amount of reparations can be worked out. Somewhere north of $400 billion should be a good start.

Everyone in Russia and Ukraine should get a full pardon.

Blue Helmets should come from countries they both can agree on.

Why should those who have committed war crimes receive a full pardon?

Dream on. To much blood has been spilled for this to work for either side.

Why did they not only receive pardons, but got paid a lot, in the usa, after wwII ?
For power , control, towards the goal without regards concerning guilt, atrocities, murders they committed at all.

What happened to the odds? Or what are the odds ?

The leftist fantasy that there would be Moscow eventually on the Rhine if Trump was re-elected is amazing. All of Putin’s aggressions happened when the current prez was also vice prez and his son was cashing in on corruption in the Ukraine.

To the expected detractions: I have my facts and not fantasies.

Reconciliation means that the individual, beginning as His enemy, is reconciled with God, meaning that he now enjoys the fellowship with God that he was created for. Since Christ died to reconcile all,

this fellowship only takes place as the person "appropriates" it, as he turns to God in faith. IOW, we don't attempt to stop being a sinner -by obedience of the law-in order to please God and become His sons,

rather, Jesus did that for us so that now we can humbly turn to and enter communion with Him first, naked in our sin-and then

He does the work of cleansing and justifying, forgiving sin while putting His law on our minds and writing it on our hearts.

Letting neutral Blue Helmets put in a buffer zone.

And where would this buffer zone be? Your issue is that at least one side will object, or even both, depending on where the buffer zone/borders were placed.

Ukraine will insist on the pre-2014 borders, and would likely want the peacekeepers on both sides of the border to protect from a Russian attack. They aren't going to agree for Russia -- who has had troops in Ukraine since at least 2014 -- to be rewarded for their bringing war to Ukraine.

Russia will insist that the borders be placed based on the borders they currently claim, giving them substantial Ukrainian territory -- including territory they don't currently control. Though, they'd likely "settle" for where the borders being the areas of Ukraine they currently control. Though, to be fair, they'll still recognize they "own" those other areas of Ukraine and will likely attack as soon as your blue hats leave (the UN isn't going to leave peacekeepers in Ukraine for too many years).

And if you try to make the 2020 borders, where Russia only keeps Crimea, then neither side will agree. And, again, even if you could, Russia will likely just attack again, in a few years, after the blue helmets are gone.

Not sure what any of that has to do with either side giving pardons to war criminals and having the UN patrol the border.

This isn't really true. The entire time Trump was President, Russia was sending equipment and "advisors" to support and build up the separatist movement in Ukraine. I can agree that Putin did not have a massive expansion under Trump but it continued under Trump -- which is why Trump was sending military aid to Ukraine.

But, yes, in terms of a large scale invasion, Trump was claiming he was going to withdraw from NATO, there are clear indicators that he planned to do it (and likely still does) in his second term. Putin was willing to wait until he could invade without the threat of NATO, which is one reason why this never happened under Trump.

Again, what does this have to do with my comment?
Your sig reminded me that there are "odds" for most things posted re war, blue helmets, politics, weird things done without the motive known, and maybe you do not like the odds ?

What are the odds of getting a pardon, from earthly governments or from the Creator, either one ?

You mean a few Germans, and not just in the US? Because they were scientists (as well as Nazis) and the governments involved decided their knowledge was worth the pardon, if they would agree to work for the country that offered them the deal. it is worth noting, other than those few, the rest (at least that were found) were convicted of war crimes; it was not a blanket pardon for all that committed war crimes.
