Noting also that 'democracy' , 'forced' on some countries by the usa, etc,

Perhaps. However Russia needs to do some things before it is considered, like getting rid of their president for life and withdraw from Ukraine. If they can demonstrate they want to join then consideration should be given. Oh, and try to stop all the cyberterrorism happening within their borders.

We managed to fight a war where we were direct combatants for 20 years without resorting to a draft. I'm not sure why we would need a draft for a war we are providing only material and advising support in.

I think for some people it requires victory, plenty of spoils of war and of course a firm boot on the enemies throat for the foreseeable future.
