I love them, but we rarely get any good ones around here. Now when I lived in Maryland, right on the shore of the Chester River, those were some really good ones. I used to love to go out and walk on the beach with the wind and the thunder and the lightening all around...

I love them. We sometimes sit outside or watch the lightning from our picture window.
During tornado watches and warnings we often stay outside too. The one day when there was a tornado near our house we stayed outside most of the time, we went in as it went over our house but went back out after it hit a building a mile or so away, probably not the smartest thing to do but oh well.
And my brother and I used to play outside on our road and in our woods when it would flood, that was after the thunder stopped and stuff.

I love Storms i like how the temperature drops right befor the wind starts whipping! i love just standing there and letting the wind blow around me its a awsome experience. My family use to allways tell me that when you heard thunder it was just angels bowling in heaven. It was a great thing to grow up with, just thinking that the crash and roar was some one knocking all the pins down. Where i live the sky changes colors alot when lightning flashes and i love to just sit there and watch. :D

I love thunderstorms! Especially living in an area where tornadoes can pop up at anytime... I wish we would have some big storms here at school before I have to go back home because they are supposedly much worse here, and I see it as the worse the better... I know I am weird, but I have been in 4 tornadoes.

I love thunderstorms, always have, and my sons do. too. In fact, I have to stop them from wanting to go outside to stand in them, although I do let them stand on the porch.

I remember one time when I was about 7, my mother and I were on the front porch watching a thunderstorm in spring, you know the kind that smell so good. A bolt of lightning hit the street, and a fireball went whizzing by us down the road. It was amazing, but a little bit scary, too.

Last year I saw lightning hit a transformer at my neighbors house, it made a bright green flash and was really cool looking. We didn't have power for four days because of it, no one believed me that I saw something blow over there, they finally checked it out and we got power back, that was a fun week doing stuff with only a generator.

why not? i dont understand whats to be afraid of.. as long as your not holding a silver rod in your hand im sure it wont hit you!!! :D

Tornados. I live in Georgia, and we have a lot of tornados here. I'm always afraid that one will destroy my house one day. Storms and tornados are my worst fear. I don't like lightning, either. I also don't like thunder. It scares me for some reason. It always has.
