Lou Gramm is a very gifted vocalist als
n his newer Christian music as well as his work with Foreigner.
I didn't even know Lou Gramm was a believer.
Whitney Houston was/is our sister in Christ and though the Lord may have
taken her home through substance abuse (which may have caused her to
pass out and drown in her bath tub) she will always be remembered by those
who knew her as a Christian (even though she struggled much of her career).
She continually professed faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Whitney at the peak of her health in her early 20's had more power and
a better tone than even Mariah Carey (although Mariah might have had
better range). It is difficult to say who is the greatest female singer
ever because there are so many others like Aretha F., Chaka Khan, Martha
Walsh, Patti LaBelle and Barbara Streistand.
Whitney left us with many many great performances on great records
and some day we will all sing together songs that glorify the Lord Jesus.
RIP Whitney Houston. She had the best volume of pop hits of ANY female
artist thanks to Michael Masser, Kashif, Narada Michael Waldon, David Foster,
and all of the other great songwriters and producers who worked with her.
