Nothing of the sort was stated nor implied. Rather, people who actually know him, not the leftwing media complex, are vouching for him.
Your unfounded smear of Geller is noted.
The beautiful thing about smearing people as racist sexist no good bigots merely by their association with the wrong people, is that you can establish that those same people are "wrong" by the exact same strategy!
I.e. Why is A a bigot? Because he worked at a magazine with B, who is a bigot. Why is B a bigot? Because he had C appear on his talk show, and C is a bigot. Why is C a bigot? Because he was personal friends with D, and D is a bigot. And so on ad infitum. But in practice most people either accept your word before you get to C or would never have believed you in the first place.
I've seen this done big time in the science fiction community (which is often ahead of culture trends, especially the bad ones). So I know the proper response: to refuse to condemn anyone merely based on their associations, and to not unperson anyone for whatever reason whatsoever. Historically Republicans have been all too eager to throw others under the bus to try to save their skins, not realizing that this just puts them next in line to be thrown under the bus. Trump largely refused to do this, and that's a big part of why he won.
