eating shell fish was an abomination back then too dontcha know?

don't hang onto words too tightly .. just who God is .

"nor did it enter my mind", think what you will, an abomination is just that, God is not singing praises about burning people in the verse, is He? further, the verse reinforces the idea that God finds this appalling, as He states that it did not enter His mind......do you think then that its possible we gave God the idea of burning people alive? unbelievable.

you forgot this one, commenting further, in which God HIMSELF states that this is an abomination, pretty strong words for God to use eh? and quite contradictory to the same god that throws people into fire alive, to burn for all eternity........what say you dollarsbill?

I say that God doesn't have to answer to anyone. But we have to answer to Him. Can you admit that God burns people alive?

Revelation 20:15 (NASB)
15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

You don't understand.

According to the BIBLE God finds it appalling that anyone would be burned alive. According to the BIBLE, it would never enter God's mind to burn anyone alive.

Now, Can you admit that according to the BIBLE God doesn't burn anyone alive?

great response, answer a question with a question? im sorry that jeremhia doesnt reinforce your supposed doctrine, its not my fault, i didnt put it in the bible. i realize you have no response to that, as any response would seem illogical and totally contradictory......so thankyou for not trying to refute it.....cause it obviously says that God finds the act of burning people alive a vile act indeed....

and no i will not think that or say it, cause it isnt true, and its not in the bible.

what is in the bible is this......
Jeremiah 32:35

English Standard Version (ESV)

35 They built the high places of Baal in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, though I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

ignore it all you want, its still there.

I just quoted from Scripture that proves you wrong. How many verses must I quote for you? There are many in the translation you recommended.

Revelation 21:8 (NASB)
8 "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

God gives up people to the evil in their own hearts.

Some hearts vaunt eternal death upon their neighbors, some eternal torture in fire. There is really not much difference between these two measures. And both have the 'gall' to claim that as love to same. What a dark joke that is within.

10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

We can't say we weren't warned, can we?

Revelation 19:20 (NASB)
20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

well the people in the time of noah werent warned, nor sodom and gomorrah, they werent warned of hell either, nor was anyone in the old testament for that matter......too bad for them....heh?

for such an important matter, you would think that it would have been brought up to these sinners many times.....wouldnt you?

God must have just "forgotten" to mention it to them......a slight oversight.^_^

Noah warned them.

NASB
and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Noah warned them.

NASB
and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;

You missed verse 1 of 2nd Peter 2.
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

And verse 2
Many will follow...their destruction is not asleep.

And verse 6
He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes

Oh well.

Are you really admitting that God burned them alive?
No, because they died. When you say God burns people alive, you mean that He KEEPS them alive while he burns them for all eternity.

I'm saying what I have always said and you should know this by now: The wages of sin is death.

So you're not denying that God burns people alive?

Revelation 14:9-10 (NASB)
9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

AS much as you like to say that God keeps people alive forever so that He can cruelly burn them alive, NO! God does not burn people alive forever and ever and ever. I'm not saying that He does. You are the person who is saying God burns people alive forever. Not me. GOT IT?

That wasn't the issue. The issue is 'does God burn people alive'? The clear answer is yes He does.

Revelation 9:18 (NASB)
18 A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths.

If your god burns people alive for all eternity, then you and I do not worship the same God. I've tried to convince you, but you will not listen.

Since you worship a different god and will not listen to reason from the scriptures, I have nothing more to say to you.

Your god burns people alive for all eternity. The True God of the Bible does not.

Goodbye.
