Rubber bullets aren't like conventional lead bullets that are simply made of rubber. They are larger, and are fired from shotguns or other launchers that can handle them, and they are meant to be skipped off the ground into crowds to disperse them. That's not the same as using a handgun or rifle in a defense scenario.

The U.S. military and militarized police have used rubber bullets on unarmed American citizens (Native Americans, non-native allies and veterans) before. It happened at Standing Rock while the Sioux was fighting against the Dakota Access Pipeline being laid through their treaty protected land.

The militarized police and the National Guard also used water canons, tear gas, tasers, pepper spray, concussion grenades, and Long Range Acoustic Device sound cannons. The violence and human rights violations were so horrific that Amnesty International and the United Nations Human Rights Counsel became involved. The picture is of a protector who was shot in the face with a rubber bullet.

Nope, but we sure did hear about Colin Kaepernick and the other black NFL football players kneeling peacefully during the national anthem though, didn't we? We kept hearing how they should be fired and they should leave the country if they don't love it. You know, even our Christian president Donald Trump got involved in the conservative virtue signaling indignant outrage and referred to those NFL players as sons of [insert profanity here] and he also demanded that they should be fired.
