Wow, I change OS's nearly as often as my underwear...

I got Linux Fedora 9 installed and functioning properly.
Also added more memory and now Ultimate just dusts XP 64 performance wise...so I uninstalled XP 64 and just dual booting Ultimate 64 and Linux. I'm happy now, lol...those are by far my two favorite OS, so this should be permenant.

Now...if I can just get OS X installed on my USB drive, I will be in heaven. My gf likes Leopard because "it's cute ", so she can play around on that.

Kubuntu (well Ichthux actually) is my main system on all the computers I use (home+work), except on my laptop which has a multiboot Kubuntu + Mac OS X, but I mostly use Mac OS on it because it's a PowerPC and official support for Ubuntu on PowerPC is discontinued.

I have 3 machines running XP (1 laptop & 2 desktops) and recently bought my MacBook Pro running Leopard. I must say that I've been using Windows for years and years and was convinced that I'd hate any other OS. Much to my surprise, when I tried out OS X, I've never been happier. My XP laptop is definitely simply a back-up. I much prefer my Mac. I am highly considering formatting one of my desktops and installing Ubuntu as well. My fiance has it on his computer and I really like it. It seems pretty much rock solid like OS X.

XP Home SP3 and I just recently put in Ubuntu 8.10 after a year-and-a-half or so hiatus from having a dualboot setup. Currently, I'm just trying to just Ubuntu tweaked in the right ways to where I'm comfortable again (and get KDE running properly; it's stopped loading since I forced my display depth to 24 bits).

EDIT: KDE's fixed - all I had to do was turn off Compositing, and 24 bit color depth works fine now.

My primary motivation for putting Ubuntu back in is as a cross-build environment, as it's far more streamlined doing it under Linux (I've struggled to get MinGW and MSys setup correctly on Windows twice already, as well as a very brief skirmish with Cygwin, and it just ended up being more hassle than it's worth). Also, I realized that the display problems - the desktop was shifted about an inch to the left offscreen - I was having previously with Ubuntu were due to me not thinking to adjust the Hz value back down to 60 like it should have been.

I’m running Windows XP Home SP3 at the moment because I am borrowing a laptop until I get a new one. I will run Windows XP PRO SP3 until Windows 7 comes out. I will also dual-boot with a Linux distro.

Some surprises so far! Can't believe that not only are there are twice as many Linux users as Mac OS X, but Linux is outnumbering Vista as well!!

Well, to update, when I started the poll, I was using XP Media Center and Linux Fedora 8. Since then, I have upgraded to Vista Ultimate 64 (and think it is head and shoulders above XP) and now on Linux Fedora 10.
I just installed Windows Server 2008 because I am moving my site over to my own server, and wanted to see how it compares to Linux CentOS and Linux Fedora as a server. So far, not overly thrilled. It seems very sluggish in comparison, and much more time consuming to get configured. Giving it a little more time, but as of right now, Linux seems to be leaps and bounds ahead...

Vista Ultimate 64-bit on my main machine and two machines running XP Pro x86.

I never thought that I could get this vista machine stable but it has remained rather stable under 64-bit, the x86 version was pretty bad and even now I have more compatibility issues with modern games then ancient ones  I sure hope Windows 7 is an improvement or it might be getting to be that time where I start transitioning platforms.
