I am still trying to understand why science is evil (of Satan).

Apparently there is Real Science, which I assume is not evil (of Satan). I also wonder if there are Real Scientists (living humans).

I am taking a geology class in January. I don't know if it will be evil science (of Satan) or Real Science. I need to know if I have to drop the class.

Science's job is merely to observe and report.

Science can't change anything, it can only take things and put them together in such a way that the product is greater than the sum of its parts (called a gestalt).

For example, you just don't see medicine lying around -- you have to actually get the ingredients and put them together in such a way that the product will cure its intended target.

Where the evil comes in, is when scientists overstep their bounds and start interpreting what happened; and interpreting it in such a way as to directly contradict what the Bible says about the same topic.

For example, try watching a simple documentary on the domestic cat. They will talk about how the cat hunts, stalking its prey until it jumps, timing itself that the hind legs will land next to the animal's head, then coming down and grabbing the mouse with its jaws, and so on and etc.

Then -- right in the middle of all this -- you get some remark made about how the cat's eyes or paws or tail or something 'evolved over millions of years' -- and there goes the whole quality of the program down the drain.

I literally get so upset when I see that, that, even when the program reverts back to talking about their cute little kittens and so on, the show seems to have lost its charm, and is not as 'innocent' as it started out to be.

Science is evil when it demonstrates what is called the Peter Principle -- rising to the level of its own incompetence.

That is, stepping into the realm of the Bible and saying something contradictory.

Actually it is.

What's comforting to know though, is that we are on the winning side.

Even though evolution will become the dominant religion in the near future -- (in my opinion, of course) -- Jesus will come back and put an end to it once and for all.

We may not be able to know if a deity exists but we can definitely tell that the Bible is wrong. If you base your deity belief on those incorrect premises, then we can logically know that belief is wrong, as well.

As in, "not a God" or "not a pink unicorn". Nobody can have evidence that there is NOT something. Only a lack of evidence FOR something. I think I might have said this in this very thread. There are many reasons for this. One example is that disproving something doesn't necessarily prove anything else.

False. Evidence abounds for the spiritual and God. Physical only evidence is what you lack.

In other words, disproving the theory of evolution wouldn't necessarily prove the case for Christian creation as there are hundreds of creation stories and faiths out there, not to mention many other scientific hypothesis that were proposed before evolution was first speculated.

Evolution in the popular sense of the word is just another creation myth. Ho hum.

A positive means "is something" or "existence of something". If you say "There IS a God" or "there IS a unicorn" then it should be fairly easy to prove if it is correct. You can prove a positive by simply showing evidence of your God or unicorn.

First, it was observed, and known, and proven, then people believed in God.

It depends what kind of god we are talking about. If the god is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient and benevolent, then it is self evident that this god does not exist.

Self evident in your head maybe. Not in millions of other people's heads.

If we change "benevolent" with "indifferent", this type of god may exist, but its existence is not self evident.

Oh come on now. Has God ever forsaken His people? Has He ever refused salvation to those that call on Him?

Not real science, that is just knowledge. It can be good or bad. The so called sciences, that claim to deal in the far past, are another story. They are of Satan. They omit anything but the present nature, including the spiritual.

I would say that is one of the worst so called science fields. It is riddled with serpent lies.
