1. God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) *EXODUS 34:28 that in the NEW COVENANT give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172;
2. The SHADOW laws from the MOSIAC BOOK of the COVENANT that pointed to JESUS and God's plan of salvation under the NEW COVENANT (Burn't offerings; sin offerings, earthly Sanctuary and ceremonial law for remission of sins, Levitical Priesthood etc).
EXODUS 24 [7], And he took the BOOK OF THE COVENANT, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD has said will we do, and be obedient.
DEUTERONOMY 29 [21], And the LORD shall separate him to evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the COVENANT THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK OF THE LAW.

2 KINGS 23 [2], And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and HE READ IN THEIR EARS ALL THE WORDS OF THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT which was found in the house of the LORD.
2 KINGS 23 [3], And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, TO PERFORM THE WORDS OF THIS COVENANT THAT WERE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK. And all the people stood to the covenant.

2 CHRONICLES 34 [31] And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, TO PERFORM THE WORDS OF THE COVENANT WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK.
.................
CONCLUSION: The OLD COVENANT was made up of two sets of laws which included 1. GOD'S ETERNAL LAW (10 Commandments) and 2. The MOSAIC SHADOW laws from the MOSAIC BOOK of the COVENANT. You mix up the SHADOW laws from the MOSAIC BOOK of the OLD COVENANT *

2) We find God giving the Covenant, now referred to as the Old Covenant, references to see Exodus 20:2-3 and Exodus 20:8.
"DITTO" - see above your whole argument falls down because you do not know what the OLD COVENANT was. Only sent in love as a help to you brother
3) We that roughly Exodus 20 through Exodus 24 contain the Covenant, now referred to as the Old Covenant because of point 1 and 2 above with the people's response of "All that YHVH has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!" to the Covenant, now referred to as the Old Covenant, and Moses saying "Behold the blood of the covenant, which YHVH has made with you in accordance with all these words", references to see Exodus 24:7 and Exodus 24:8.
"DITTO" - see first response. Your whole argument falls down because you do not know what the OLD COVENANT was. Only sent in love as a help to you brother
4) We find God identifying Himself, references to see John 1:1 and John 8:42 (and not listed but needs to be John 8:58 referring back to Exodus 3:14 even referring back farther).
Yep and your point here is????
5) We find that Jesus satisifies the Law, all of the Law, references to see Matthew 5:17.
JESUS first starts off by qualifying everything he is about to say by stating; Think not that I have come to destroy the law and the prophets... Your point here is???
6) We find that Jesus gives rest to believers and this rest is continual, reference to see Matthew 11:28.
Indeed and your point here is????? Where is the scripture that says God's LAW or God's 4th Commandment is abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? There is none
7) We find some commandments/laws of Jesus, references to see Matthew 11:28 and John 13:34
Yep and your point here is????? Where is the scripture that says God's LAW or God's 4th Commandment is abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? There is none
8) We find Jesus identifying believers relationship to His words, references to see John 14:15.
MATTHEW 22:36-40
[36] Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
[37], Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
[38], This is the
first and great commandment.
[39], And the
second is like to it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.
[40],
ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.
and again...
ROMANS 13:8-10
[8], Owe no man anything, but to love one another:
for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. [9], For this,
You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is
summed up in this saying, namely,
You shall love your neighbor as yourself. [10], Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore,
love is the fulfilling of the law.
LOVE is expressed through God's LAW as it is the standard of RIGHTOUESNESS *PSALMS 119:172.
When we LOVE GOD and our NEIGHBOUR it is expressed through our actions.
If we LOVE our neighbor...
* We will honor our parents,
* We will not kill our fellow man
* We will not commit adultery with our neighbores spouse
* We will not steal from them
* We will not lie to them
* We will not covet what they own.
If we LOVE our God...
* We will not have other Gods
* We will not make idols and worship them
* We will not take his name [follow] him in vain
* We will remember his Sabbath and keep it holy.
ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS [OF LOVE] HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS *MATTHEW 22:36-40.
9) We find that when Jesus said "the new covenant" that "He has made the first obsolete", references to see Luke 22:20 and Hebrews 8:13.
As shown through the scriptures already. You mix up the SHADOW laws from the MOSAIC BOOK of the OLD COVENANT *

ROMANS 7:7;
1 JOHN 3:4. If you do not know what the OLD COVENANT is how can you know what the NEW COVENANT is that the OLD COVENANT pointed to?
10) We find that Jesus said "It is finished!" thus it is clear that the New Covenant is established, references to see John 19:30.
The commandments/laws of Christ are lawful; on the other hand, a person not honoring the words of Jesus is lawlessness. Lord Jesus said "the new covenant" (Luke 22:20) thus "He has made the first obsolete" (Hebrews 8:13). Your words teach something different than the Jesus' words.
Jesus Christ has made the first obsolete which includes Exodus 20:8. Jesus Christ has written His Law of the New Covenant in the hearts of His own people which are Spirit-filled believers!
DITTO please see above
Sorry brother God's WORD does not teach lawlessness. According to God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) is the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNES *
ROMANS 3:20;
ROMANS 7:7;
1 JOHN 3:4;
PSALMS 119:172.
God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of what sin is when broken *
ROMANS 3:20. According to God's WORD if we break any one of God's 10 Commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN *
JAMES 2:10-11.
According to God's WORD all those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN *
HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *
ROMANS 6:23. OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. If our faith has no fruit it is dead *
JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *
MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50.
It is JESUS that says all those who KNOWINGLY follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God are not following God brother not me *
MATTHEW 15:3-9. Who then do we BELIEVE and FOLLOW God or men *
ROMANS 3:4. Yep I know who I believe. You provide your own words. My words are not my own but God's WORD. It is the Word of God that will be our judge come judgment day *
JOHN 12:47-48.
Now where is the scripture that says God’s 4th Commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? There is no scripture is there? If there is no scriprture for this tradition why do you not believe God’s WORD?
Only sent in love as a help to you brother.
