Your lack of a dinosaur is in your house. Why should we look for it? That is your job.
As long as you don't tell people that my dinosaur went extinct millions of years ago.

Your dinosaur doesn't exist. If you can genuinely prove you have a real, living dinosaur, then I have a Nobel Prize with your name on it.

So he does all the work; and for it, all he gets is a piece of paper with his name on it?

Yeah, scientist are pretty stoopid. They'll do all that work just to get a shiny piece of metal (and as another poster indicated about 1.4million dollars and amazing amounts of fame and status and an acquiescence that they have achieved the highest level in their field of study, but other than that.)

oh, yeah, by the way, I don't think one could get a Nobel for proving they have a real dinosaur (as in the non-bird variety, but more like the Mesozoic variety). I don't know if that would count. Unless they genetically engineered making one out of ancient DNA like in "Jurrasic Park", that might get one.

If that's your "thing", I guess.

Personally I'd do science if it got me a shiny gum wrapper. I'm building a nest and need shiny objects.
Who doesn't?

I'd do science if I could learn something new, but who wouldn't?

How do you know my dinosaur doesn't exist?
Because all the evidence says dinosaurs are, to a one, exitinct, and because you haven't provided any evidence to the contrary. But I'll repeat my challenge: "If you can genuinely prove you have a real, living dinosaur, then I have a Nobel Prize with your name on it."

What evidence & why are you calling Larry my pet dinosaur a lie?
I'm calling him a lie because you haven't proved he exists, nor have you explained how such a dinosaur is even possible. If you have a pet dinosaur, then there would have to be a breeding population of its species going on for 65 million years, as well as breeding populations of whatever food it feeds on - the problem is further compounded if your dinosaur is a carnivore.

But ultimately the onus of proof is on your. If you believe you have a living dinosaur, prove it.

What is this "learn something new" of which you speak?

Frankly one is ahead if they limit their desire to shiny bits of paper.
Anything you didn't know before (I was kind of hinting that I will start with research after my education).

I agree with the second part, desire is clouding ones judgment too often.

You haven't even been in my room to begin with.
No, I haven't. However, I have already given my reasons for disbelieving your claims, and you have yet to provide any supporting evidence. On that basis, there is good reason to reject your claims in lieu of said evidence.
