  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

BenAdam, I am keeping completely spoiler-free. Well, as spoiler-free as possible. ABC had a pretty revealing promo on during Desperate Housewives last night! :eek:

But, I pretty much threatened everyone I know with bodily harm if they spoiled the Hawaii episode on Twitter or Facebook. Not to take credit or anything, but so far they've been good about masking or hiding spoiler information. :D

Thanks Snooch, it's great to see you around too, and a lot of other familar faces/usernames! :)

I'm hoping none of my American friends on facebook will have any spoilers on facebook, such as status updates. I've got the choice of trying to watch it online, or watching it when it shows on TV over here on Friday. To be honest though, even though it is shown on TV a few days later here, I quite like the idea of Friday nights being Lost nights! :D What better way to start a weekend?
