Good picture and thanks. The outer court would make a good study.
The Court in Revelation 11:2
The same greek word for "court" is used in Matt 26:3 concerning the Chief Priests, where Jesus was taken. Interesting
Matthew 26:3
Then were gathered together the Chief-priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, to the Court/Fold of the Chief-priest who was called Caiaphas
Most bible versions render "leave out" in 11:2, but the greek word used is the exact same form of the word used in Galatians 4:30 concerning Hagar and her son "being cast out", [much like Adam being cast out of the garden in Gene 3:24]
Galatians 4:30
but what saith the Writing? 'be Casting Out!/ek-bale <1544> (5628) the maid-servant and the son of her....[Genesis 21:10]
Revelation 11:2
and the Court/fold outside of the Sanctuary, be Casting-Out!/ek-bale <1544> (5628) out-side/exw <1854>,
and no it thou should be measuring, [Matt 26:3/Gala 4:30]
1544. ek-ballo ek-bal'-lo from 1537 and 906; to eject (literally or figuratively):--bring forth, cast (forth, out)
The Complete Jewish Bible
Revelation 11:2
2 But the court outside the Temple, leave that out; don't measure it; because it has been given to the Goyim, and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months.
New International Version
Revelation 11:2
2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.
The court representing the earth has the earthly Jerusalem being given over to be trampled by Antichrist and the Gentiles.
The holy city here is the earthly Jerusalem Isaiah 52:1; Matthew 27:53
The temple and the Holy City are seen as the same in this here verse.
