Sister, no human being can save you, you must put your trust in God. I don't need a human to interpret the Bible for me, I can understand it myself thanks to God.

Hi Brother Guevara,

What do understand regarding the rest of YHWH's appointed times. Do you keep his eternal Moedim?

I don't follow men either. That is why I have studied out the keeping of YHWH's appointed times for myself.

Leviticus 23 is a great place to get an overview.

(CLV) Lv 23:32
It is a sabbath of cessation for you, and you will humble your souls. On the ninth day of the month in the evening, from evening until evening shall you cease for your sabbath.

You can find more detail concerning his Kadosh appointments in other parts of his Torah, such as in Exodus.

(CLV) Ex 12:17
You will observe the instruction, for on this very day I will bring forth your hosts from the land of Egypt. And you will observe this day throughout your generations as an eonian statute.

(CLV) Ex 12:18
In the first month on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you shall eat unleavened bread until day twenty one of the month, in the evening.

(CLV) Ex 12:19
For seven days yeast shall not be found in your houses, for anyone eating leavened bread, that soul will be cut off from the congregation of Israel, both among the sojourners and among the natives of the land.

Shalom

a full day in God's time as being "sunset to sunset"
Brother, the Sabbath in Israel is evening to evening as reveled in Leviticus below. You assume this Sabbath in Israel is a day of the week, but Genesis reveals a day of the week is morning to morning and not evening to evening.

It is a day of sabbath rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath." (Leviticus 23:32 NIV)

What you think is a day in Israel is a Sabbath that is not a day of the week because it is remembered in the Eden time zone. The Sabbath in Israel falls between two days, taking the night of the six day and the light of the seventh day of the week.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV)

Did creation begin before the first day; or did it begin on the first day, in darkness?

(CLV) Gn 1:1
In a beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth.

(CLV) Gn 1:2
As for the earth, it came to be a chaos and vacant, and darkness was over the surface of the abyss. And the spirit of Elohim was vibrating over the surface of the waters.

This is supported by modern science.

Well that is not true dear friend. I did not assume anything but simply quoted you scripture from Genesis and provided the Hebrew that disagrees with your teachings, but will add some more here if it may be helpful.

Genesis 1:5 that says "the evening (darkness) and the morning (daylight) where the first day" shows here when God's time in regards to a day starts and ends.

The last post also provided the Hebrew Word meaning for "day". If you look at also at the Hebrew for evening and morning it makes everything a little more clearer.

Let's now look at the Hebrew word meanings for "evening" and "morning" "evening" ערב; ‛ereb; which also means night and "morning" בּקר; bôqer which also means; tomorrow (after night) or day (daylight). Hence "evening to evening" or both the "darkness and the light" make up the day.

Now look at the scriptures your quoting here dear friend from Leviticus 23. They are not talking about God's weekly Sabbath made at creation. They are talking about the "annual Sabbaths" in the feast days that can fall on any day of the week, not God's 4th commandment weekly Sabbath made on the "seventh day" which is always every seventh day. God's 4th commandment of the creation week as all the days of creation are defined in the scripture as evening to evening (the darkness and the light) in Genesis 1:5.

The argument you seem to be making here I do not believe is biblical and is like saying that JESUS and the Apostles and all of ISRAEL kept God's 4th commandment weekly Sabbath on the wrong time of the week.

You do know that at creation there was darkness before light right? Have a look at the context... " [1], In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [2], And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." - Genesis 1:1-2 (darkness comes before light according to the scriptures).

Receive God's correction and be blessed dear brother we all love you here :)

Brother, It seems to me that just as my weekly Sabbath begins when it begins in Israel, these annual Sabbaths should also begin when they begin in Israel. I mean if you call Israel, when you hear it begin for them it will also begin locally for you. My faith has not grown enough to keep the annual Sabbaths. We need to accept a slow growth in faith as we listen to God's word every Sabbath.

It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath. (Acts 15:19-21 NIV)

Did you know that there is a 1 hour time difference between Cairo and Jerusalem? When YHWH gave instructions for Pesach in Yah's people in Egypt; did he give those instructions on Egypt time, or Israel time?

Brother, again you assume that Genesis 1:5 contains a full day when it is only ending the first day with the night-half. The first day having started with the light in prior verses.

If you carefully read Genesis from the beginning; you will clearly see that the earth was created before there was light.

Again, if you listen to the Doctor, in the radio program that I provided; you will see that this is supported by the natural laws of Physics.

Nope. What came first the darkness or the light? - Please read the context your disregarding in Genesis 1:1-2. The "darkness" was before the light.

You did not read the last post addressed to you did you. The Hebrew word for "evening" ערב; ‛ereb; means "darkness" and the Hebrew word for "morning" בּקר; bôqer means "daylight"or tomorrow (after darkness).

Genesis 1:5 that says "the evening (darkness) and the morning (daylight) where the first day" shows here when God's time in regards to a day starts and ends.

I think I might pull out of this thread dear friend as we are going around in circles here. We will have to agree to disagree. My prayer is that you might consider the scriptures that your brothers and sisters are kindly sharing with you that show why you are in error in your teachings and that you might receive Gods Word and be blessed.

The Hebrew word Yom has multiple definitions, just as the English word day.

It can mean daylight hours, or a 24 hour cycle.

You didn't really answer my question.

Did creation begin before the first day; or did it begin on the first day, in darkness?

Do you know the answer?

Brother, I think these are teaching examples, where he taught in Egypt as it would be done in Israel. Similarly, with the manna, he taught the Sabbath in the wilderness as done in Eden to establish the day before teaching them in Israel to remember the Eden Sabbath as separate from the local week cycle.

So they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it. “Eat it today,” Moses said, “because today is a sabbath to the Lord. You will not find any of it on the ground today. Six days you are to gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any.” (Exodus 16:24-26 NIV)

Brother, yes, the Earth already existed before creation week, God did not create it during creation week. He prepared it as our home during creation week. That explains why the rocks are older than the genealogies in the Bible from Adam to Jesus.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV)

I agree. The day begins at sundown, where you stand. The sun is a sign for appointed times.

(CLV) Gn 1:14
And Elohim |said: Let luminaries come to be in the atmosphere of the heavens to separate between the day and the night, that they may be for signs, for appointed seasons, for days and years.

YHWH gave us these signs for all the world to see, not just from one little point on the globe. I don't believe for a second that Paul was breaking Shabbat throughout the course of his traveling ministry.

The Hebrew word for "evening" ערב; ‛ereb; means "darkness"
Brother, our church found the meaning of the word "evening" means sunset. This was verified by our prophetess. Used for the beginning of the Sabbath in Israel. "Evening" is not the word "night" that God called the period of darkness and did not use in Genesis 1:5 as you force it. If God meant to say what you force Him to say, He would have used the word "night", but instead He used the word "evening" which means sunset and not the night-half of the first day.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV)

Brother, the first day does not begin in darkness. It begins with the light as understood when you work backwards from the end of the first day to its beginning. There was creation before the week of creation. Like the creation of the Earth that was created an unspecified time before the light begins the week of creation.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV)

There was no sun on the first day.

(CLV) Gn 1:13
And evening came to be, and morning came to be: the third day.

(CLV) Gn 1:14
And Elohim said: Let luminaries come to be in the atmosphere of the heavens to separate between the day and the night, that they may be for signs, for appointed seasons, for days and years.

(CLV) Gn 1:15
Let them be for luminaries in the atmosphere of the heavens to give light on the earth. And it came to be so.

(CLV) Gn 1:16
Elohim made two great luminaries, the greater luminary for ruling the day and the smaller luminary for ruling the night, and also the stars.

(CLV) Gn 1:17
Elohim placed them in the atmosphere of the heavens to give light on the earth,

(CLV) Gn 1:18
to rule the day and the night, and to separate between the light and the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.

(CLV) Gn 1:19
And evening came to be, and morning came to be: the fourth day.

Brother, assumed was the Sabbath in Israel a day of the week, but it is not a day of the week in Israel as it was in Eden, because when God made that time holy He fixed it in the Eden time zone. We did not understand what it meant for God to make a time holy, it set the Sabbath apart from the week cycle, fixing it to the Eden time zone. The seventh day of the week and the Sabbath are two separate things that only come together in Eden, but are separate everywhere else like in Israel.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV)
