I guess I don't actually fit your description... I'm not a pescetarian, I devour cows, pigs, birds, and other land/air animals like there's no tomorrow.

I agree with (apparently) every guy here when I say Chanis.

Aside from her I've only had sparatic e-mail/PM/IM convos with a few people, not enough to determine "if my type".

On a side note. I though DaveKerwin was a real jerk when I got here, so I invited him to play paintball and it turns out he's a better friend than a guy could ask for.

For the record, Dave is not "my type", I'm just not into dudes.

And as for whose characteristics I fit...I feel funny saying I fit any of em, because I don't have all the qualities, and I really don't like talking about my good qualities it's embarassing lol...but with the almost constant exception of appearance, here are the ones I fit most closely (because I fit all of em to a point):

I think I'd get along good with any girl that lists "sense of humor" as a top priority and "perfect teeth" at the bottom of their list. I mean, I can't really eat an apple through a tennis racket or anything, but there's a few spaces between the teeth, they function well as a soup-strainer.

She didn't post in here but I think Caelda and I would get along great in real life, because IIRC, we could never get along even a little bit in posts. I was always thinking "If we had non-verbal communication thrown in, I think we'd see that we have the same attitude, but you have to speak to us in person to "get it". Take that away and leave our posts in the hands of the reader's assumptions and you get a arguement that neither of us is sure why we're in it.

Other than that, I revert back to Kerwin's explanation of type. We had this same conversation (He had asked what I look for in a girl, I didn't have a good answer) He sumed it up as "Basically, whichever girl can put up with me the longest, she wins."

I think the most important thing for me is (other than looks being important too) that she not be a "strong Christian" but rather a Christian similar in strength to me so neither of us is leading the other or living in the other's shadow.

And if she can sit there with me in the bleachers at a Tiger's game in a downpour with the Tiger's losing by 10+ runs and everybody with any bit of common sense has already head for home and only a fool would still be there in the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs thinking this sub-.500 team is somehow going to win this one, that'd be a plus.

Well, it's "outgoing" when it is potentially benefitting to the kingdom of Christ, and being "recklessly spontaneous" when God calls you to do something crazy. To fit my type it requires a certain amount of "reckless" spontaneity.

That's very interesting...and it makes sense. Willing to follow one's instinct or calling, even against logic and reasoning...which if you think about it is, by definition, a leap of faith...

Wonderful answer! I prefer this over the 'shopping list' type response. For what you've described to happen, compatibility and chemistry must be there to begin with. It leaves a lot of room for God's will, while not getting hung-up on the specifics.
