One could argue that bluish purple is more on the purple side and purplish blue is more on the blue side, but for me, they are the same thing.
Exactly or similar?

I'd say they are different colors of red. The colorblind might think they were both green.
The one provided in the OP of this thread.
I love all hues of green, though. I shared a few pictures of my room I painted with three of my favorite shades of green here.
It looks very pretty! I also love the drawn/painted flowers and leaves on the wall.
To me, their hair color shades range from auburn (like my hair was before it turned "platinum blond" with age) through dark orangish-red through bright orange.Do you think redheads have actual red hair or its amber?

I haven't actually ever seen anybody with RED hair. It's always some shade of orange or, if you will, jacinth, to my eyes.
This may be a strange question here but I promise I will elaborate later on.
So, what's your favorite color?
What color resonates with you the most?
Now we aren't talking what's your favorite color for a sofa, walls, tablecloth, curtains, car, phone, clothing, or any other 'item', we are strictly speaking of the color itself.
So here's your choices (changed to show different hues)

Please answer with the number and why if you choose to.
Aren't some shades of red natural? I don't mean crimson.
Sure. Look at the color poison ivy turns in the fall, or some sugar maples. Poppies are red red red.
As far as hair color goes, I've never seen anybody with hair color that I would really call RED. Though of course I would use the common tongue and call them "redheads" nevertheless.
Same thing for skin color, for that matter. "Redskins" are brown. "Blacks" are darker brown. "Whites" are pink.
Those people in that link have hair that is various colors of orange. It's not really red.
Ivory? No, I'd say white people are various shades of pink.
My opinion is that they are exactly the same thing, because there is no word that says "bluish purplish color thingy" that denotes specifically that the blue and purple are equal. But my opinion is worth about two cents. I'm sure an art major would tear me to shreds in less than a second.Exactly or similar?
I'm not an artist, but this is the shade of indigo that I use for my desktop Colour of sound: indigo and I'd say it is closer to violet than blue (it's practically a purple). My favorite indigo is the really equal blue/violet. It's almost impossible to find.Does indigo apply to both?

They can be. But both colors are on a spectrum. Violet starts where Indigo leaves off (hence the color I showed you) and travels down to a dark lavendar almost megenta Indigo starts at almost violet and leaves off at almost blue.Do you think violet and indigo are practically the same?
Vermillion is not a shade of red?
It isn't? Why not. I suppose that it's also a shade of yellow, which gives it its brightness, but clearly the red predominates, to normal eyes. Eyes differently composed, such as those we might call "colorblind", might call vermillion a shade of green. Dogs might say that it's bright grey, if they could talk, and if they really don't see in color.
To my eyes, vermillion looks like bright red. Crimson looks like red tinged slightly with blue.
Would you agree the girl in that photo had hair a shade of red? Therefore, some redheads do have red hair, just not bright red hair.
