Snowing hard. Work is 32 miles from home. It usually takes me 40-45 minutes. We closed early, and it took me an hour and 5 minutes to get home tonight.

Still snowing! 9" on the ground. 5-7" additional coming today. There's nothing to stop the drifting snow in central Indiana, so, while I grew up with snow, I'm staying home today.

Well I do believe that someone around here was singing "let it snow" we have gotten right around 14 inches today on top of what we already had. I for one have seen enough I truly can't wait for warmer weather.

Has been foggy, but not too cold.

I don't want summer either. I've a skin condition which means I absorb too much of the sun's radiation, and end up staying indoors during the daytime. I feel for those of you in very cold climates though. Something inbetween would be nice .

Had a great weather surprise today. The morning was awful. Very slippery and had a tough time just walking the three blocks to the subway. Didn't get out for lunch, but it rained in the afternoon. When I left the meeting I was at tonight -- didn't get out until almost 11:00 -- the sidewalks were completely dry and the walking was fine. It was even warm enough not to wear a hat. I was delighted.
