I had a look Woodrow, and that is cold!! Do you have the other extreme in summer? In which case does the weather change quite suddenly? I had a look at your album too (and also at the cat one :)).

Today it is milder; in the 50s F.

What is summer? :D

We have a very short summer. But it is very pleasant. Auguast is our hottest Month and some of the days can feel intolerable, but on the average we only use the air conditioner about 2 weeks.

there has been recorded snow falls here in every month except August. But on the average we get our last snow fall in early May and the first in Late September.

I just took another video of today's snowfall, we expect it to continue another 6 to 10 hours.

That is a long winter Woodrow!

Temps here still in the low 50s F.

Snowing again today. Light snow but got about 3 inches of fresh snow since 10 PM last night.

Hopefully we have seen our last Blizzard for this winter. Should get about 4 more light snows between now and mid May along with even a few warm days. Spring should be here about Mid May. :D

Enjoy it when it comes Woodrow! :)

Today an overcast but fairly mild day - in the 50s.

I set up a small greenhouse and starting a few seeds. They should sprout in about 2 weeks and by mid May danger of any "Killing" frost will be over and I can set them out. Up here with the short growing season we have to cheat with our planting.

Currently we are in for a few warm days may even hit 50 but expecting Snow again by Wed

I miss the snow and snow storms.

Here in Arizona it's almost always sunny, rofl. The only difference is how hot it is. It's a dry heat.

Right now its sunny, a couple clouds in the sky, and a wonderful 62 degrees F.

Fairly mild here.

Do you grow some plants undercover all year round Woodrow?

Actually have some plants one would not expect up here' I have 2 fig trees that do quite well, but I have to wrap them up from Oct -May.

Just put up the Green house a few weeks ago. I'm going to see what I can do with it and how much I will need to heat it in the winter.

I just planted some seed in flats that I have in it. Tomatoes, Squash and Peppers. I hope they will be large enough to move outdoors by June. Last year I tried planting tomatoes outdoors. I planted the seeds in May, by the time they got big enough to fruit they were killed by our first frost.

Mostly what people plant up here are hardy grains like wheat and rye. Corn also as it matures from seed in only 2-3 months. Planted in late June and ready to pick in august.
