That's odd. Last I knew, it seems rain and Western Washington State are synonyms. The officials have a job countering fears of the public when the sun comes out-- nobody's ever seen it so they're scared.

Eastern Washington State tends to run dry though. The mountains wring all of the moisture out of the air so there's not much rain East of the mountains.

After the biggest social lie of "the check is in the mail", "yes I love you can we go to bed now" and "I told you that before!" is "It rains all the time" we use this lie to convince Californians to go home.

Jesus said to love your enemies. Loving Californians is tough based on them moving up here, changing the laws, complaining about the rain, then after ruining the economy they move back leaving us to clean up their mess. Now they're doing the same thing to Colorado except they've got 2 recall elections here in about 4 weeks or so.

Oh and I apologize for going into the Teens forum as well, I'm too old to be in there. I'm glad a moderator went in there after me and swept up my mess, sometimes I forget to look behind myself and see which category threads are classifed in.

I wouldn't worry too much Blue- age is more of a mental state. At 50+ we've done everything, seen everything and very few things surprises us. Things that surprises us: an unplanned pregnancy by a grand daughter or grand son, or one of our children having cancer. Things that DO NOT surprise us: grey hair turning silver, and watching our friends die of disease, stroke, heart attack, etc.

For us, we take notes. For you it'll just be depressing

It's been cloudy all day, high got to 83F before settling down, presently 76F going to a low of 66F.

50 percent chance of rain forecast. Weatherbug radar shows storms in Iowa, near the Wisconsin/Illinois line, and the movement indicates they should be here* in the small hours of the morning if they hold together. 40 percent chance of getting wet tomorrow.


*"here" is the Western 'Burbs of Chicago, just so's you know.
