I slept most of the afternoon wearing nothing but a smile, the temp was over 80 and I STILL snuggled for about an hour or so under the blanket. Go figure!

It's cooled off here to 80F / 27C here again today, and we got a lot of rain. Thank you Lord. The forecast calls for more rain tonight and tomorrow. We'll give thanks for every drop we get.

Glad those of you who needed rain, have had it. Praise God. 
I wasn't sure if it was a bit cooler today, or if I'd acclimatised, but in view of Dave's post I think it's a tad cooler. Still summery and dry though.

Well, if my surgeon found out what I did today, she'd beat me black and blue with bits of red blood thrown in.
Left the window down in my van, cats jumped in, pee'd, turned on the lights, burned up the battery, and I had to carry a 25poundish battery when on a 10 pound profile until I'm healed from the Doc. Walked 1.3 miles from out the door to inside of the auto parts store, purchased a battery, the temperature on the walk was 80+ and for a Diabetic type II that SUCKED! The good news is I only had to rest once where before I had to stop every 300 to 400 feet due to lack of insulin in my body!
So things are doing good even if its hot and humid here in Seattle!

More rain today and tonight - Yeah! We had 80F for a high today and 70F for a low, so it's been nice and cool.

Thank You for your prayers- a guy I went through Basic and AIT in the army became a doctor after we got out- guess who just put his foot directly in my tush this morning? HAHA Oh well- I'm doing pretty good.
Its nice that G-d has given us the privilege of being able to pray to him directly through his Son. That is indeed a huge blessing.
In a somewhat strange way, I gain some insight into how G-d looks at us when I see my mutt look up at me with his big brown eyes wanting something....NO! NO MORE SNACKS!....more brown eyes....I MEAN IT, NO MORE SNACKS!.....and he ends up getting a snack.
I glean from this how G-d will look at us with love and make decisions based on that.

It is 93 today with 42% humidity... tonight will be miserable... 71 with 90% humidity. I hope that mean rain coming.... we have had a couple showers... we needed them badly.
