I switched from air conditioning to heat this morning. Not for long, I'll probably turn the system off entirely for a while in a bit.

59F when I woke up at 4:00 CDT, clear skies. Presently it is sunny, 62F, going to a high of maybe 75F before settling into the mid to high 50s F tonight.

The grass is growing like crazy. I know my landlord mowed the front lawn only a week ago, I'm doing it while he's on vacation and the lawnmower labored to cut the front lawn the other day. We had record rainfall for the past six months in the Chicago area, so that accounts for the growth. This time last year we hardly needed to mow, grass was dry and just barely hanging on.

We have a new one 'on-order', but it is OUT OF STOCK at present

The wife, the dog and myself are sweating like stevadores with the temp at 87 here in Seattle. The big bright yellowish orb in the sky- legend has it's called a "son" with a different spelling is supposed to smoke Vampires down near Forks, Washington.

Its not working- I have yet to find a single pile of ash from any "Vampires"

Has been raining a lot here also. I like the various times of rain and storms to cool off the hot, humid weather. Some 4th of July activities and fireworks were rescheduled for Sat. in some cities due to the rainy weather.

with composite multi-locking type doors and frames

I had erected it, to prevent rain entering the rear hallway
when it was opened to allow dogs access to the yard

Spending only a very few minutes in direct sunlight, each time I go out there
28.C / 84.F no clouds around \o/


I recall it being 40 - 42.C when I was in Cyprus for six months with the Army
too hot, to work after 1pm and KD's [Khaki-Denim] was appropriate clothing
