CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The weather here in the Seattle/Tacoma is showing G-ds humor! Aparently as long as my motorcycle is in the repair shop, G-d has decided to let foul wet weather blow since he knows I hate riding the skooter in wet weather! HAHA! =)

I sometimes wonder if the guys and gals who tell us what the weather is supposed to do are in possession of a window to look out of.
I wonder this because of numerous incidents like the one this past Saturday. I had a trip to Alabama, and while driving through Downstate Illinois on I-57 the weather prognosticators on the local radio station in Champaign were saying it was supposed to be partly sunny with isolated showers.
Uh huh. Try "Rainfalls ranging from severe to torrential, for a distance of twenty miles either side of Champaign" and you would have been closer to the truth.
I really don't think weathermen can buy themselves a clue sometimes.
Right now here in Chicagoland, it's supposed to be mostly cloudy with occasional rain/thunderstorms. Maybe later, right now the sun is shining and it's 81F. There is rain near the Mississippi headed this way, so I expect we could get rain this evening.
