Temp. up to 50 today. Mon. was warmer, stormy and raining. Weather should be warmer the rest of the week, and rain later here in KY.

Our forecast for the next several days is high 70s into the low 90s with winds of 25+. We are in bad need of rain and under a burn ban because of everything so dry and susceptible to fire. We do have some fires fairly close to us, and we are praying for rain.

We've re-written the old saying to:

Still very cool to chilly here but dry since early morning raise:
I need to plant three FOUR 'new' rose plants [rooted cuttings]
and preparation of moist bedding sites while essential
has been too wet to get them out until today... I hope we dont get a frost !

They promise a warm up next week..... 84 one day, then in the high 60's
