The weather is absolutely perfect here! For the past few weeks we have had sunny skies, highs in the 80s and lows around 60-65. What more could you want? Yes, a bit warm in the day, but finally the awful humidity is gone! We can be happy even if it is 88. Truly thankful to God for the lovely days we've had. \o/

58, rain in the area. Warm weather the next couple of days, might get close to 80 on Tuesday.

Today's high is expected to be 79F, and we still have a small chance for more rain. Our last rain helped the farmers and ranchers greatly, but we still need some more. Stock ponds were getting pretty low.

Yep, we have a high-wind warning coming mid-week. A storm front moves through on Tuesday and after that we could have 50 mph winds. The quotation above is from a time when great ships were driven by sail and riding out a gale was serious business. "Top hamper" was the top masts and rigging associated with them, taking them down before a heavy blow allowed the ship to weather the storm easier.

Well, we are heading up to 90º again today. Too hot for late October! Expecting a cool off beginning tomorrow though1

We have a cool off scheduled to start tomorrow. It's been mid 80s and it's supposed to go down to mid 70s for the rest of the week. Regardless, our weather has been very pleasant, and it's nice to get out.

If the noises outside are any indication, the wind has arrived. 28 mph out of the Southeast at the present, supposed to be out of the Southwest later at 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Get out the cast iron kite.

Thunderstorms, and we're at our high for the day of 68 degrees at 3:15 in the morning.
