CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, we have a high of 12c all week, North of Manchester here in the UK. The sunshine has brought out the Spring flowers, daffodils and crocuses, primulas. Birds singing merrily,

I HAVE to laugh. Last week we had a high of 81f (27.2c). It was nice. Today it is snowing now and we are expecting up to 22 inches (56cm) of it! And of course with the warmth last week and before I have an appointment today for work on my SUV and also have my studded snow tires removed and the summer tires put on! You have to laugh.

Hi, I live on the South Island of New Zealand, I moved here 10 years ago from the states so I still read and write temps, etc the imperial way. Today, it is in the high 50's, and overcast, our nights have been in the low 50's to 40's. We are in Autumn right now.
