What's the weather like where you are? (10)

We started August in Central Oklahoma with 7 earthquakes - magnitude 3.0 or greater. I'm not used to earthquakes and don't like them, so this is new for me. We just moved here about a year ago.

The temperatures have averaged about 10 degrees or more cooler in August of this year compared to previous years. This area has also gotten much more rain this August than in previous years. We'll just give thanks to God for what He gives us.

Very calm weather. The birds and insects outside are pretty loud.

It's 78*F right now on it's way to 93; with not a sign of moister any where.

Tomorrow is to bring another heat~wave for the next few days with 100 degrees; with patchy smoke from our numerous forest fires.

I wished Texas could send some of the rain they are getting; it's not like they need so much.
I am so tired of summer.

It's 88F and sunny today in Central Oklahoma. We have a lot to give thanks for, and we're praying for those in South Texas.

Instead of just telling you about the weather; I thought I would show you the smoke. We had no clouds this morning; so I took pics of the sun rise; I could look at it without eclipse glasses. This is all smoke.

So sorry to hear about the forest fires mnorian. Praying for rain for you.

It must be nice to live in a country that you have ocean effects weather; no matter where you live.

It is; we are very blessed. I would struggle to cope with the hot summers and cold winters of continental weather systems and feel for those of you who have them. I hope the temperatures drop soon in your area.

Over here we are waiting for Spring, just days away now if we want to be official about it. lol But some trees are starting to open their new leaves already and the sun has been a lot more obliging today, sticking round for most of the day.

It's 84F and partly sunny today in Central Oklahoma. It's a beautiful day. My wife and I just came in from enjoying it some.

We are doing ok here in Central Texas. The worst we got was 60 MPH winds, and wound up getting around 4.5 inches of rain over the entire weekend, so we are in good shape with no storm damage. Praise the Lord!
Please keep those along the Texas and Louisiana coast in your prayers; many areas have seen significant damage and things continue to get worse for them.

I thought it had rained here recently, as it has been quite autumnal, but I found that my hanging baskets were dying, and the pot plants parched, so I watered them and then saw that heavy rain is forecast for tomorrow! Temps low to mid teens C (+/- 60F).

It's 83F and mostly cloudy here today in Central Oklahoma. We're still enjoying the lower temperatures, and Autumn is just around the corner.

Seems autumn is taking a few more corners this year; we are forecasted for another heat wave this weekend and going into next week; with triple digit temps till the 4th of Sept. I'm hot already!

It's 86F and sunny here today in Central Oklahoma. We have a nice breeze of 10 mph, and it's a gorgeous day.

We've had a pretty good day overall for the first day of Spring. The obligatory rain shower, of course, but otherwise fine and quite warm.
