It is cold out ...... but often feels 'mild' during the day

enjoyed today's 'dry-day' \o/

We've had a number of dry days, many of them sunny, but cool - my sort of weather. Night-times have been a bit cold, but not too windy, so the house is reasonably warm.

It felt like Summer had arrived ~here, yesterday \o/ what a marvellous day \o/

Today, is cooler and overcast

Will it rain or won't it ?

It does feel like Summer here during the heat of the day, but, it looks like Spring. We have had low 80's for highs but it cools at night to the 50's.

It was a 'white-finger' day, today
very cold, but above-freezing ....hand-warmers in my pockets would be ideal

It's been dry for some time and today it's quite mild.

It is 5.50 pm and already I feel I need to put on a wooly / put heating on
One, hot cup of lemon tea coming-right-up

I'm beginning to wonder if I need to water the plants it has been so dry! LOL! I've never thought of that in March before!

If the surface is friable (crumbles to dust easily)
and there is no danger of frost, then watering at the base of the stems
will do more-good, than harm


If, you break the surface FIRST (hoe /hand-fork)
a light 'feed' might give your plants a new year start
before too-many bugs get-themselves 'hatched' and become ready to torment
most adult carers, of gardens, everywhere

Today it has rained, and at one time it was extremely heavy and windy. However it seems quite mild.

moderate but persistant rain.
a very good day to be inside,
snuggled under a quilt, with a cuppa hot chocolate and a good movie.

It rained this morning but it has stopped for now. The sun is peeking out and it is warm, upper 60's.

bright and sunny here, but still Spring-like cool with a breeze from the chilly NorthWest.
I have a new bare root rosebush scheduled for delivery today, so i'll be busy planting that tomorrow.

Milder days (in the 50s F), a few have been sunny, but also some rain. Some nights upper 40s, but others still in the 30s.
