It plainly rained overnight / early hours of this morning
a neighbour mentioned his hearing of thunder, and his bedroom lit by lightning-flashes
between 3.00am and 4.00am

All I saw was the wetness everywhere
as I let the dogs outside @ 8.30am
and had had a very restful sleep
