I'm curious and want to ask a question. Do the farmers and those who raise livestock like the weather conditions there? We've gotten a lot of rain here over the last two years, and it rescued many from bankruptcy. We had several years of drought before this time of plenty, and even some of the wells were drying up. There was a time when most of the stock ponds were dry.
Sure Tom, Temperate farming is good for root veg and legumes also
of-course 'flooding' and looking after 'livestock', can be a real headache (if-not nightmare) in the lowlands
Yes, we too have been under 'drought conditions'
But in your case, I would look to water (drinks) companies
having drained the Aquifer / lowered the water table level below-ground
and, having-brought you to and, left you, in those dire conditions
will then sell their product to you, so you can replace what they, have removed from the Aquifer
